Bidding is really simple, particularly if you've bid in an online auction before, but here's a quick rundown on some features that may be unfamiliar: Each lot in the auction is scheduled to close approximately 20 seconds apart. For example, Lot 1 is scheduled to close at 7:00.00 pm central time. Lot 2 is scheduled to close at 7:00:20, Lot 3 is scheduled to close at 7:00:40, Lot 4 is scheduled to close at 7:01:00. Soft Close--- The auction software has a "soft close" feature so that if a lot is bid on in the final three minutes before that particular lot is scheduled to close, that lot extends for another three minutes. For example, say Lot 10 has one minute left before it closes and a bid is placed on it: Lot 10's time will extend to four minutes. Then if Lot 10 ticks back down to two minutes remaining and another bid is placed, then Lot 10 will extend to five minutes. As long as active bidding is occurring in that final three minute window, it will keep extending that lot's time. This does not affect any other lots in the auction, just that particular lot. This is the easiest way to emulate "live" auction bidding, and a very common practice in online auctions (not eBay). High bids and maximum bids--- Bidders can place maximum bids which remain secret; the system will only bid up to the competitive bids and show that number as the high bid. For example, if your maximum bid is $100 and the next highest bidder's maximum bid is $40, then you would be the high bidder at $41 (based on the bid increment table). If bids go past your maximum, you'll be notified by email that you've been outbid and can then bid again if you choose. If two bidders happen to have the same maximum bid, then the first bidder at that value is shown as the high bidder.

Good RX sensitivity on all bands -- about 0.5 uv on SSB, 1.0 uv on FM, and 2.0 uv for AM. The S meter moves smoothly, and the display is sharp. Switches/controls could use some cleaning. All filters, except for one, are installed (see last photo). The built-in auto-tuner is NON-FUNCTIONAL. This rig works well, with power output ranging from 216W on 160M and to 194W on 10M. RX sensitivity ranges from 0.2 - 0.3 uv on 10M through 17M, and 1.0 uv on 20M/40M, and 5.0 uv on 80M/160M. The lower frequencies can use a bit of adjustment as far as sensitivity goes. Hallicrafters SX-28 Skyrider Receiver. This is probably one of the nicest looking 28's that I've seen. Front panel is very good, as shown. And, the interior looks fairly clean. Definitely some work has been done over the years to keep it in this condition. That being said, RX sensitivity ranges from 1.5 uv to 8.0 uv depending on band. So, it could possibly use an alignment. We'd prefer not to ship this unit, and we'll hold it for you for a reasonable amount of time, if necessary. Audio output is very low, and there is hum in the audio. Sensitivity is 50.0 uv or more, depending on band, however, all functions work and it receives on all bands. Yaesu FT-767GX Transceiver in fair cosmetic condition, with numerous scuffs and scratches, as you can see in the photos. This rig will need some work. Most buttons/knobs/controls are dirty and wil need cleaning. TX power output is good, and ranges from 116W output on 10M to 100W out on 160M. That being said, RX is poor. Sensitivity ranges from 30.0 uv on 10M to 38.0 mV on 160M. Also, when the RF gain knob is rotated completely clockwise, the RX will go dead. A slight turn to the left, and it comes back to life.
