Description German made DWM model 1906 America Eagle Luger chambered in 9mm with one, eight round removable magazine with nickel body and wood base, and a 4" barrel. Rust blued late short type frame with manual grip safety, wide trigger, and narrow trigger guard. Serial number matching checkered walnut grips. Patinated straw finished magazine catch, takedown lever, manual thumb safety lever, and trigger. Rust blued barrel and receiver with US Eagle Inscription and flat checkered toggle knobs. Dorsal fin front blade and rear V-notch iron sights. The toggle is marked "DWM". The front of the frame is marked with "Germany" export mark. The full serial number is marked on the barrel and frame, and are matching. The two digit serial number is marked and matching on the extractor, front toggle link, rear toggle link, receiver, side plate, takedown lever, trigger, and both of the grips. The breech block and a the grip safety appear to be un-serialized. Must ship to a FFL or C&R holder.
Condition: Overall good with spots of metal oxidation, finish loss, and brown finish patina throughout. Most of this wear is found on the sharp edges, side plate, and contact points such as the front and back straps. Some small spots of pitting. Most of the finish on the straw parts are now in the white. The grips are in good shape, with some scratches and wear on the checkering and edges, but most of the checkering still feels strong considering the age. The markings are still visible and crisp. The bore is in good shootable condition with light frosting of metal oxidation and spots of pitting. The rifling is still visible and strong.
