Jeff Self started into the rock hounding world in the early 60s with his uncle in Yellow Stone National Park. He began collecting as an adult as a cross country truck driver to pass the time. He retired in 2013 and moved to New Mexico where he and his wife really began collecting to the tune of a few tons a year. He also buys a lot of private collections, always looking to settle/buy an estate. He cuts and polishes a lot of rock, tries his hand at jewelry making and gives his rock away to a lot of kids. He loves to travel and explore God's creation, especially exploring abandoned mine areas and dry river beds and walking around the desert. After years of collecting this auction contains a wide variety of rocks, gems, minerals, crystals, agates and jaspers. All Lots Sell With No Reserve!!
