HiBid.com recently welcomed Heritage Auctions of Irving, Texas, to its inaugural sale on the vibrant online auction platform. The Dallas-Fort Worth-area auction company put up 30 lots of rare and collectible coins on the internet-only sale taking place February 15th to the 23rd of 2023.
Among the highlights of the auction is a valuable 1951 Benjamin Franklin commemorative half-dollar coin with a high estimated value. Another is a 2006 burnished Gold Eagle $10 piece graded at a near-perfect MS69 condition. Other commemorative coins on the Heritage Auctions sale include a 1952 half-dollar bearing the likenesses of George Washington Carver and Booker T. Washington, along with an MS70-rated, 2020 $1 coin designed by Justin Kunz for the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall Of Fame.
Morgan silver dollars from the late 1870s to the early 1880s are also included in the auction, including an 1884 Carson City coin in its original slabbing from the General Services Administration hoard released to the public in the 1970s and early 1980s. The Heritage Auctions sale also offers Peace silver dollars from the early 1920s, a 1946 Walking Liberty half-dollar from the Denver Mint, and Proof Silver Eagles including a pair of Deep Cameo PR70 coins from 1998 and 1999.
