Aficionados will find a tantalizing array of archtops, flat tops, cutaways, jumbo, teardrop, thinline, and other styles. Classical, dreadnought, flamenco, Hawaiian, orchestra concert, and parlor guitars are all represented. Whether it’s an aesthetically stunning sunburst acoustic like the Epiphone Hummingbird or an iconic electric like the Gibson SG, the collection contains rare, sentimental, and valuable guitars from historic brands like D’Angelico, Fender, Gretsch, Hofner, Martin, Oscar Teller, Ovation, and Vox.
Among the highlights of the auction is a vintage 1968 Fender Telecaster with a blonde solid body and white pick guard. The Tele, known for its distinct “twangy” tone, is being sold with a hard case. Bidders will also find a 1967 Fender Wildwood I electric with gorgeous natural wood grain body and whammy bar. Collectors will also want to turn their attention to the Gibson ES-355 for sale. With its semi-hallow body, dual pickups, and four individual volume and tone controls, the legendary 22-fret electric is known for its vibrant tone and capability to accommodate many playing styles.
