Terms and Conditions
AUCTION TERMS & CONDITIONS
• REGISTRATION & IDENTIFICATION: At the time of registration, Hibid platform collects information about you to verify who you are before you can bid. We collect credit card information to ensure that you are a qualified buyer. All Bidders must be of legal age to bid.
• PAYING FOR YOUR PURCHASES: There is no cost to register for an auction. If you are the successful Bidder, you must attend during the allotted pick-up time frame where you may pay cash, e-transfer, Debit, Visa or MasterCard. All items must be paid for at or prior to pickup. Card used to register is not automatically charged, Payment can be made by E-Transfer, Cash, Debit, Visa, Mastercard.
• Payments must be made 24 hours after the auction closes. If there is an issue or payment is declined online, please contact us to arrange payment in person, if you do not contact us in advance, the item will be listed as abandoned. Payments can be made by Visa, Mastercard, Debit or cash online. E-Transfer option is also available, the email for this option is support@auctionary.ca
• CREDIT CARD – For first. Credit card charges greater than $2,000 buyers must pay with intrerac e-transfer, cash, certified cheque or wire transfer. A surcharge fee of 3% will be charged for qualified buyers over $2,000 who wish to make a credit card payment.
• BIDDERS PREMIUM: A 15% Buyers premium is in effect for this auction on all purchases.
• Please pay for your auction lots. Auctionary Canada will take the necessary legal steps to protect its interests. Non-paying bidders will be blocked from all future auction participation.
• SOFT CLOSE is a bidding term that allows Bidders extra time to submit a bid. As the time runs down on an item soon to close and if a Bidder submits a bid in the last minutes of the sale on an item, SOFT CLOSE extends the Bid time an additional 60 seconds only on that item. As long as someone continues to bid on that item, the time period will continue to be extended. The time period eventually runs out when bidding ceases. The purpose of a soft close is to allow everyone a fair chance to submit a bid.
• REFUND POLICY: All Sales are FINAL, Bidder agrees that everything is sold as is and that they may not return any item they purchase. No claims regarding goods purchased will be allowed. NO REFUNDS, RETURNS, OR EXCHANGES. All items sold "AS IS WHERE IS" with all faults.
• In a situation where an item is listed in error or cannot be located during pickup for any reason, the bidder acknowledges that their sole recourse is a full refund for the specific item.
• All descriptions are believed accurate but not guaranteed. It is the Bidder's responsibility to determine condition, age, genuineness, value or any other determinable factor. Bidder shall be the sole judge of value
• While we strive to accurately represent and describe all items through detailed information and photographs, it's important to note that all items are sold on an 'as is' basis, with all faults.
• We shall not be held responsible for advertising discrepancies or inaccuracies.
• ADDITIONS & DELETIONS: We reserve the right to remove and/or add lots and/or items to the sale at any point before or during the auction.
• PICK UP TIMES: Successful bidders will be sent an invoice with the address and the link to schedule pick up time for your lots.
• SHIPPING: No Shipping but contact us at support@auctionary and special arrangements can be made.
• Under no circumstances shall a Bidder have any kind of claim against Auctionary Canada or anyone else if the internet service fails to work correctly during online auction. Purchaser does hereby indemnify and hold harmless the auctioneer and seller from any and all damages, claims or liabilities from injuries to persons or property of any type whatsoever caused during the sale or by the removal or shipping of items purchased.
• We reserve the right to reject any bid at our sole discretion.
• HST 13% applies to all items

Shipping / Pick Up
Auctionary Canada provides shipping for many items In the auction across North America.
Shipping is available on smaller items up to 30 lbs. All items will be shipped at the buyers expense via parcel post or Courier. A $10.00 handling charge per package (not per item) will apply. All items shipped will be under the buyers responsibility to make claims with the carrier of choice. Erin Auctions assumes no responsibility once the item has left our premises.
If you are bidding on a larger item (example furniture) and require shipping YOU will have to make the carrier arrangements including skidding, wrapping, paperwork & pick- up as we do not have the resources to provide this service.
Auctionary Canada will charge a handling fee ranging between $10-$20 per box. - We are not responsible for shipping issues including damage during shipping, once the items leave our location we are no longer responsible for the items, Shipping is at your own risk. We strongly advise purchasing carrier insurance when requesting shipping. We will work to determine the best shipment option possible at the best rate possible. Once bidding is final and if you have specified shipping, you will receive an email with the tracking number, if applicable.
Please ensure you make prior arrangements to the pick-up date to ensure we are aware of your shipping requirements. Otherwise your items may be deemed as an abandoned item. (see terms & conditions for abandoned items under pick-ups) Any items not picked up per the shipping and/or pick-up instructions, will be subject to storage and restocking fees.
SHIPPING & INTERNATIONAL BIDDERS: IF YOU NEED PACKING/SHIPPING -
Shipping is available on lots marked, please check lot descriptions for any exceptions. We provide in-house shipping solutions both local and international at great savings. Any items requiring shipping need to be paid prior to packing/shipping via etransfer (Canadian buyers) or Square Invoice (US/International buyers). We will then pack and send shipping quote. There is a $10.00 per box or $2 per item (whichever is greater) Handling Fee.
For our friends in the USA we use a local cross border shipping agency which also has a $3.00 extra charge but will save you time and money shipping through USPS or UPS. We use Pirate Ship to purchase our labels for the USA so you can attain quotes there. If you are shipping multiple items and we are able to combine items into one package safely you will only be charged one handling fee. Shipping on very large items (over 50lbs-vehicles, furniture etc) must be set up by the purchaser. Shipping does not include insurance; if you require insurance, please let us know as soon as possible. If no insurance is requested or purchased Thunder Bay Estate Sales will not be held responsible. All items must be picked up within 3 days after the pick up day of unless otherwise arranged. All items left longer will become the property of Erin Auctions or at our discretion A $10.00 Per Day Per Item Storage Will Be Charged For Items Left After that period.
