1a. FIREARMS: Gun Preview Dates/Times Guns can be previewed "Live - In Person" on Sunday April 14th, 11 am to 2:30 pm. Preview location is at Linnebur Auctions, Inc., 670 S. Tenney St., Byers, CO. Please note: Gun preview and pick up are two different locations. Guns will be transported by gun dealer to his address immediately after preview. 1b. FIREARMS: Online Bidding Information PLEASE READ BEFORE REGISTERING: Certain guns are banned/illegal in certain states, it is the buyers responsibilty to know his/her state gun laws prior to bidding. Because of shipping restrictions, our FFL/Butterfield Firearms will NO LONGER be shipping guns to CA, so if you live in CA and need your gun shipped, please do not register/bid. 1. This online only auction uses the HiBid platform. You must create a HiBid account before you can register to bid on a specific auction. New registrations can be created by going to our website www.linneburauctions.com and then click on "Login/New Bidder" to the right of our logo. 2. You MUST register for a bidder number to bid online, including those who have permanent bidder numbers for our on-site auctions. Click on the "Register to Bid" tab and follow the directions. A valid credit card is required to obtain a bidder number. A $1.00 charge will be placed on your card for validation purposes only. This charge will be credited back to you. You will receive an email once your registration has been approved and you will then be able to place bids. 3. Preliminary bidding on lots will take place from 12:01 a.m. MST 03/25/2024 and continue to 6 p.m. MST Monday 4/15/2024. Beginning at 6 p.m. MST, lots will begin to close in numerical order, one lot every sixty seconds. This auction has a one-minute soft close in place, meaning lots will remain open for bidding until one minute has spanned with no bids, then the lot will officially close. It is IMPORTANT to understand that lots 2..3..4..etc could close before lot 1, if bidding is still present on lot 1 but has ceased on 2..3..4..etc. PLEASE CALL STEPHEN @765-202-3703 with any questions you may have concerning the bidding process. 4. Online bid submissions are a legal binding contract, in which you agree to pay the amount you bid if you are the winning bidder. Under no circumstances will bids be edited/cancelled. DO NOT bid if you DO NOT intend to purchase. 5. Upon completion of the sale, you will receive an electronic invoice identifying lot(s) purchased and balance due. 6. The credit card you enter at the time of registration WILL BE AUTOMATICALLY CHARGED AT THE COMPLETION OF THE SALE. So, please make sure the card on file is valid and up to date with HiBid. If cc payment is declined your purchase(s) will be forfeited and reported to HiBid. 7. There is NO BUYERS PREMIUM for this auction. The credit card fee is being waived (zero fee). 8. If you are tax exempt, it is your responsibility to provide a copy of your sales tax number to the auction company prior to the auction closing. FIREARMS: Fees & Payment For Local Pick Up In Byers There will be a $30 handling/recording fee added to each/every gun purchase if picking up in person. If you hold an FFL, you will need let Alice Linnebur know (alice.linnebur@gmail.com) and provide your FFL Information to butterfield.firearms@gmail.com, (for all FFL's who pick-up, first gun is $30, and remaining guns are $15 each to cover paperwork for recording and handling of guns). All air/target/bb guns/pistols do not require a Backbround Check and no fees will be charged (except sales tax and shipping if needed). All guns will be charged local sales tax of 3.25%. If you have a resale license, please email a copy to Alice at alice.linnebur@gmail.com prior to close of auction. WE DO NOT CHARGE A BUYERS PREMIUM, and the credit card fee is being waived (zero fee). All gun buyers will receive an invoice via email. FEES, PAYMENT & INFO FOR SHIPPED GUNS If you choose to have your gun(s) shipped, you must let Linnebur Auctions know upon registration, or, as soon as the online auction has completed so the proper sales tax, S & H fees can be applied to your invoice, and credit card payments can be processed. All black powder/air/target/bb handguns & long guns will be charged $50 to ship. NO SHIPPING OFFERED ON AMMO - local pick up only. WE DO NOT CHARGE A BUYERS PREMIUM, and the credit card fee is being waived (zero fee). You will pay the FFL/Dealer where the guns are being shipped to for the BC. As soon as the BC clears, the guns will be shipped to that FFL/Dealer by Butterfield Firearms for you to pick up at that location. FIREARMS: What To Expect At The Close Of The Auction If you are the successful bidder, you will receive an email with a balance due invoice from Linnebur Auctions approximately 2-3 hours after the last item sells. Depending on the time, it may be the following day. At that time, you will need to reply and let Linnebur Auctions know if you will be doing the BC paperwork and picking the gun up in person at Butterfield Firearms (located at 4711 South CR 185, Byers, CO) - OR - Will you will be doing the BC and having the gun shipped to another FFL/Dealer location. PLEASE NOTE: If your item(s) say "YOU MAY HAVE WON", this means you did win that item and will be receiving an invoice within a couple hours after the close of the auction/last item sells.
