Neither the auctioneer, nor the consignor is responsible for the accuracy of any printed or verbal descriptions. All measurements are approximate. ************************************************** 4) Sales tax: 15% HST is applicable on all sales and 5% HST on books. ************************************************** 5) Condition reports: Condition reports will be done as accurately as possible (All Sales Are Final). ************************************************** 6) Catalogue: The Auctioneer is not responsible for the accuracy of any printed material. The catalogue listings are for reference only. Both the listing and the descriptions are subject to change and errors (all sizes are approximate). ************************************************** 7) Photographs: All photographic representation and other illustrations presented are solely for guidance and are not to be relied upon in terms of tone, colour, size or necessarily to reveal any imperfections in the lot. ************************************************** 8) Reserving: The Auctioneer reserves the right to remove any item(s) at any time before or during the sale. If there is a reserve on a lot, the Auctioneer has the right to bid on behalf of the Seller. ************************************************** 9) Electronic bidding: The Auctioneer cannot, and will not, be held responsible for any interruption in service, errors and/or omissions, caused by any means and does not guarantee continual, uninterrupted or error free service or use of the Site. Bidder acknowledges that this auction is conducted electronically and relies on hardware and software that may malfunction without warning. ************************************************** 10). Payment of purchase: If arrangement for payment is not received by Friday, July 21, 2023 the purchase of the item will be forfeited. ************************************************** 11). Payment: Cash, Cheque (ID required), Visa, Mastercard, Direct Debit. We do not accept American Express. ************************************************** 12). Late payment: Late payments are subject to a 1.5% penalty per month charged after due date. ************************************************** 13). Returned cheques: $25.00 service charge fee on returned cheques. ************************************************** 14) Shipping - Getting Your Items Home: We have partnered with The UPS Store #200 in Saint John NB to assist with all your shipping needs. Successful Bidders will receive detailed instructions for shipping and will need to complete an "Shipping Release" form for the Auction house to release items to UPS. After the invoice is paid in full and the release form is signed, UPS will pick up, package and arrange for delivery. All shipping costs will be determined by UPS and will need to be paid to UPS. Note: Citadel Gallery Auctions does not undertake packing or shipping and is not liable for any shipping concerns. The Auctioneer shall not be liable for any damage to glass or frames of the lot and shall not be liable for any error or omissions or damage caused by packer's or shipper's notwithstanding the fact that we may have recommended them. ************************************************** 15) Storage fee: Purchased items must be picked up or arrangement made for pickup and payment within 7 days. If items are not picked up, a storage fee of $5.00 per day will be charged. ************************************************** 16) Bidding: Bidding on article(s) indicates your acceptance of all of the above terms. It is the responsibility of the purchaser to satisfy themselves as to the age, condition, authenticity and value of an item before bidding.
