The Crawford Success Center, part of North Central State College, will kick off the 2021 “Arts for Success” on Thursday, March 4 beginning at 6:00 p.m. This year’s virtual event will support the life changing work being done to prepare our area workforce for new careers and will benefit the CSC students through scholarships and vital training needs.The Crawford Success Center, part of North Central State College, will kick off the 2021 “Arts for Success” on Thursday, March 4 beginning at 6:00 p.m. OhioHealth is the presenting sponsor.
This year’s virtual event will support the life changing work being done to prepare our area workforce for new careers and will benefit the CSC students through scholarships and vital training needs.
A Crawford County centric evening is planned to showcase the skills of area artists, high school students and our community through a live and silent auction online format.
Top sponsors for the “Arts for Success” includes OhioHealth, North Central Ohio Media Group, Ohio Mutual, Avita Health Systems, Crawford County Community Concert Association, Crawford County Arts Council, Park National Bank, MTD Willard, Lind Media, Mizick and Miller, Wise Funeral Home, Bucyrus Kiwanis, Watts House of Insurance, and A-1 printing.
A special highlight of the night will be the presentation of the 2021 Arts for Success Leadership Award. Tina Husted, wife of Lt. Governor Jon Husted serves as the event Champion and won the 1st time 2020 Arts for Success Leadership award in February 2020. Mrs. Husted will be presenting this year’s award to the winner. She has also donated a beautiful art piece for the live auction that attendees will not want to miss.
“The stars will be shining bright at the 2021 Arts for Success. With the virtual format of the event, attendance will no longer limit the number of attendees who may participate. The community support of our citizens for the CSC and NC State has been amazing. Our list of partners and friends continues to grow as we work to educate tomorrow’s workforce and help ensure that our businesses have an adequate pool of trained employees,” said Amanda Sheets, Director of Outreach Programs. “I hope to have the entire community join us.”
