Auction Terms & Conditions This is an online only auction supporting Atlantic, Iowa resident Steele McLaren and his family. Bidding will open on 11/21/20 at 10am CST. Please note, there are TWO seperate online auction events- one for the live auction items and one for the silent auction items. The live auction will end with a webcast, allowing online bidders to bid in real time against other online bidders. You may place bids at any time before the live event and live bidding will pick up with current high bids. All bids from this auction will benefit the McLaren family. There is a 1% buyers fee in addition to all winning bids. This charge is to help cover some of the expense from HiBid. The remaining cost will be donated by The Picker's Parlor. READ CAREFULLY BEFORE YOU ATTEMPT TO BID. Once you bid, you will be bound legally by the following terms and rules that are stated here. * ALL items are offered "AS IS, WHERE IS" with no warranty or guarantees, expressed or implied, by the consignor or The Picker's Parlor Auction Service, LLC, and ALL SALES ARE FINAL. * The Picker's Parlor Auction Company gives no warranties or guarantees as to any descriptions made on any item at any time. Items are described as accurately as possible, but do not represent any guarantee by the consignor or Picker's Parlor Auction Service. Lighting, surroundings, and other factors can affect the perception of an item in a photo. * By placing a bid, the bidder agrees that they are responsible for payment, should they be the highest bidder. * Bidders accept all auction items/property "WITH ALL FAULTS", whether or not immediately apparent. * Any announcements at the auction take precedent over all printed material. * Upon the award of bid, title and risk of loss, damage to or destruction of the purchased item, passes to the purchaser and the auctioneer shall have no liability whatsoever for any damage to or destruction of any such item. * No items may be removed until settled for in the manner announced. All items must be removed within the time announced in terms of sale unless prior arrangements have been made. Any Items not removed at the allotted time, unless arrangements have been made and agreed upon by The Picker's Parlor, will be considered forfeited merchandise and will become the possession and property of the McLaren Family. * Bidder further agrees not to transact any business on auction premises other than with Auction Company. * All rights, privileges, and powers reserved or granted to auctioneer in these Terms of Sale shall be deemed reserved and granted to auctioneer's employees, advertising representative, and all owners for whom the items are being sold. * Online bidding is a provided service and bidders understand and acknowledge that this service may not function properly. The auction company reserves the right to pause, postpone, or cancel the auction if complications or circumstances out of our control occur. * By placing a bid, the bidder acknowledges that they have received, read, and understands and agrees to be bound by the terms and conditions of the auction. The bidder also acknowledges that they understand that instructions regarding payment, pickup, and shipping are within the auction and agree to read and abide by these instructions.
