Welcome to the Mid Atlantic Alpaca and Llama Online Winter Celebration Auction. We have a great line up of Alpacas for this auction that you do not want to miss out on. Consignments are still coming in and will be added daily. Please make sure when registering as a buyer that you take time to read the terms and conditions of the auction as its legally binding.
Terms and Conditions of Auction 1. Terms of Payment: A. All Payments must be made in full to Virginia Equine Sales. Payment forms accepted will be Cashier's Check, Credit or Debit Card. B. 6% Buyers Premium will be added to all purchases. C. All Purchases are Subject to Virginia Sales Tax of 6%. D. Payment must be submitted by 8PM Sunday December 6th 2020. If you plan on paying by cashier's check you must contact us at (540)394-8188 by 8pm December 6th or credit card will be charged. Cashiers check must be received by 12/10/2020. 2. All Animals are sold AS-IS with no Warranty or Guarantee of any kind unless announced by the consignor. If the Consignor sells the animal as 100% sound you may have the animal Vet Check at your expense at the time of pickup with consignor present. Mental attitudes and fears that the animal may have are not included in this agreement and are not subject for refund. Any physical defects mention by the consignor about the animal at time of auction will not be included in this agreement and by bidding you are acknowledging those defects and purchasing the animal that way. The failure of a Flexion Test will not be considered a reason to return the animal. If the animal is not deemed sound not including the exceptions mentioned you then have the right to refuse that animal. If the animal is deemed not sound you must email us the Vet Report. Once the Vet Report is received all funds including final bid price of animal, buyer's premium and sales tax will be refunded. Travel and Vet expenses are at the buyers cost and are nonrefundable.If consignor sells animal as 100% Sound and you do not have the animal Vet checked at time of pick up the sale of the animal then reverts to a AS-IS Sale with no refund of any kind. All tack , animal equipment, and misc items purchase are sold AS-IS unless announced Sold with No Defects. Buyers are responsible to pay all shipping cost. Virginia Equine Sales will provide tracking information. Once item is delivered buyer has 3 days from date of delivery via tracking to notify Virginia Equine Sales of any defects or missing parts only if item that is sold as Sold with No Defects.Buyer must provide pics showing defect. Please note that Consignor will be providing pics of items in the box to show everything is there and shipped. If item is defective or missing parts under the Sold with No Defects buyer will be provided a shipping label and must ship item back in its original shipped condition with in 3 days of receiving shipping label. If item is not shipped out by the end of the 3rd day the item then becomes nonrefundable. Once the returned item shows delivered back to the consignor a full refund including shipping will be processed. All Trucks and Horse Trailers are Sold AS IS with no warranty of any kind. Buyer is responsible for getting sign title from the consignor at time of pick up. Buyer is responsible for all DMV Processes, Fees and Taxes. 3. After payment is received Virginia Equine Sales will provide the Consignors Contact information to make arrangements of pickup of animal/item. Buyer must travel to the Consignors location to pick up animal unless Buyer and Consignor agree on a mutual location. Consignor does not have to agree to a mutual location. Buyer must pick up animal within 7 days of cleared payment. All travel expenses are at Buyers and Consignors own and individual cost. 4. All Bids are Final. There is no retraction of Bids. 5. If you are the high and Final Bidder you are responsible for submitting good payment by the deadline mention under terms of payment unless the Consignor has a reserve minimum bid in which buyer will not be responsible for payment if the minimum bid is not hit. If you wish to purchase the animal/item at the reserve bid set by the consignor payment will then be subject to the Terms of Payment. 6. Any buyer that does not pay will be subject to Legal Proceeding by the consignor and/or Virginia Equine Sales. All Legal expenses will be at the buyer's expense. 7. Virginia Equine Sales and the Consignors are not responsible for any accidents, injuries and damages at any time in regards to all purchases or anything related to this auction. Buyers will be responsible for any damages that they cause on or to the consignor's property. 8. Buyer is responsible for any additional terms and conditions that may be added before, after and throughout the auction.
