The Attica, NY Tools and Collectibles Auction features online bidding for a selection of vintage and newer tools, antiques, collectibles, and household items. Buyers should be prepared to pick up their purchases in Attica, NY and bring their own loading assistance and tools to the pickup location. *Some items may have damage and are sold as-is. Please plan accordingly: There is one pickup date and we are unable to arrange pickup on additional dates. SHIPPING: On select items only. MERCHANDISE PICKUP DATE: Monday, November 2nd, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. BY APPOINTMENT in Attica, NY. The address will be shown to successful bidders when they confirm their appointment for pickup. Buyers should plan on bringing their own loading assistance and tools because the auction crew will not be available for loading. MERCHANDISE PICKUP PROCEDURE: -Bring your own copy (either on paper or electronic) of your receipt. It is up to you to make sure you have all your items and they are in the condition you expected. Once the item leaves the premises, there will be no exchanges, returns, or refunds. -If you are unable to pick up on the scheduled date, please send someone in your place or kindly refrain from bidding in this auction. We are unable to accommodate multiple dates for pickup. -Customers will be assisted by appointment times for pickup. It will be necessary for customers to enter the building to to remove merchandise. Masks are required by NYS law, and number of people in the building will be limited (by appointment time). Customers should come prepared to remove the items themselves and bring any assistance or tools they may need. -There is no delivery or removal to our auction center. If purchases are not picked up there will be a minimum $20 removal fee, plus storage fees and an appointment must be made for pickup. -Items not picked up on the scheduled date will be resold. PICK UP LOCATION: Different auctions have different pick up locations, so pay close attention to the location for your auction. The specific location (in Attica, NY) is disclosed to successful bidders when they make their pick up appointment. Not only will you see the location on your appointment confirmation page, but you'll be emailed a confirmation of your appointment time, with the address, and a link for directions.
Auction Terms & Conditions By bidding with our auction company, you are agreeing to the following. -All sales are final. Everything is sold "AS IS" with no guarantees unless otherwise stated by the auctioneer. It is the responsibility of the bidder to assure him or herself as to the condition of items prior to bidding. Condition reports given by the staff of Bontrager’s Auction Service are subjective, and while we strive to be honest, we will not be held responsible or liable for any errors in description. Buyer is responsible for examining items before bidding. Auction company does not take responsibility for buyer's failure to examine. Merchandise is not subject to adjustments once the item has been sold. -Bontrager Real Estate & Auction Service and its staff will not be held responsible or liable for any errors in absentee/left bids or phone bids, nor for the possible failure to execute left bids for any reason. -Payment is due in full within the time limits posted in the auction. For this auction, all payment will be made through the credit card you provide when you register. We accept Visa, MasterCard or Discover. (Please note that while you may be able to register for our auction with any credit card, we will only accept Visa, MasterCard, or Discover for payment.) 13% buyer's premium and NYS sales tax added to all items purchased. Late payment will result in a $25 late fee. -Charges will range from $10 - $25 depending when auction purchases are not picked up on the designated pick up date, even if you are consolidating pick ups for multiple auction purchases. Charges will vary depending on location (many items are not at our auction center), size, fragility, and length of storage time. -By bidding with our auction you are entering into a contract with our terms and conditions. You are accepting responsibility to perform your duties as winning bidder, and agreeing that Bontrager Real Estate & Auction Service, its employees, officers, owners, representatives, agents, and consignors will not be held liable for any losses, claims, liabilities, judgments, expenses, fees, or other damages arising from the use of our services, website, auction property, and this site, including property damage, injuries, dispute with another bidder, or breach by bidder of this site. Any liability to a purchaser will not exceed the purchase price actually paid. -Successful bidders will sign their receipt at the time of merchandise pick up indicating that all items are present and in satisfactory condition. No returns, refunds or exchanges will be issued after the merchandise leaves the pick up location. -Bontrager Real Estate & Auction Service will not be held responsible for any interruption in internet service, errors, and/or omissions, caused by any means and does not guarantee continual, uninterrupted or error free service or use of the Site. By bidding with our company you are accepting that this auction is conducted electronically and relies on hardware and software that may malfunction without warning. -Bontrager Real Estate & Auction Service has the right to void any sale, suspend bidding, re-sell any item/lots for any other reason. -All sales are subject to appropriate sales tax and buyer's premium. Buyer's premium is 13% of purchase price and is subject to sales tax. -Bids cannot be retracted once the auction begins. -Buyers are responsible for making arrangement to pay for and pick up items within the time frames listed for the auction. Any variation, resulting in late pick up or payment will result in additional fees of $10 - $25, plus additional fees required for moving or storing the merchandise. There is no delivery service for this auction. Bontrager’s Auction Service is not liable for any damage to property left on the auction premises after the auction, whether or not payment has been made. We reserve the right to impose a storage fee of $10 per month for property not picked up within stated deadlines. Merchandise left 1 month after the auction is subject to sale with the proceeds covering storage and auction fees due to the auction company. - In auctions where shipping is offered, buyer pays all shipping fees, including any tax or duty associated with shipping outside the USA. There is a handling charge of $20 for any item shipped. -All payments charged to the credit/debit card used for registration, at the close of the auction. Please make sure it is up to date and is a valid form of payment. We accept Mastercard, Visa, and Discover. -Any customer who wishes to pay by cash or check must make arrangements with the auctioneer prior to bidding. Buyer's premium is 13% for all payment types (there is no discount). --If you need to adjust your credit card information in your profile, you will need to log on to HiBid.com, click on your name and go to Payment Methods. Scroll down and delete your payment method. Click on "add a payment method" and carefully type in your credit card information. Please make sure that your address matches the address to which the card is registered. -To protect you, we are unable to take your credit card number over the phone.
SHIPPING IS AVAILABLE ON SELECT LOTS ONLY. Look for the "Shipping Available" icon on the item. We do not automatically ship everything. There is a $20 handling charge for all items shipped, plus fees to transport the item from the auction site to our auction center or UPS for packaging. MERCHANDISE PICK UP BY APPOINTMENT ONLY ON MONDAY, NOV. 2nd from 10 a.m - 3 p.m. This is the only pickup date. Any other arrangements (late pickup, removal to our auction site, abandoned merchandise, etc., will result in additional fees for our staff time and mileage.) PICKUP LOCATION: Attica, NY. Successful bidders will see the complete addresses when they confirm their pickup appointments. SUCCESSFUL BIDDERS: PLEASE BRING ANY ASSISTANCE OR TOOLS YOU MAY NEED TO REMOVE YOUR ITEMS, AS THERE IS LIMITED AUCTION CREW AND THEY MAY NOT BE ABLE TO ASSIST. -ALL REMOVAL BY APPOINTMENT TO LIMIT THE NUMBER OF PEOPLE IN THE BUILDING. -NYS LAW REQUIRES A FACE MASK TO BE WORN AT THE AUCTION SITE. -THERE IS ONLY ONE DAY FOR REMOVAL, AS THE AUCTION CREW WILL ONLY HAVE A FEW HOURS ACCESS TO THE SITE. PLEASE PLAN ACCORDINGLY. If you are sick, please send someone else to pick up your items. ARRIVE AT YOUR SCHEDULED TIME: Merchandise is organized by appointment time. When customers arrive at a significantly different time than they were scheduled, they will wait longer for their merchandise and create delays for other customers. We are unable to bring merchandise from any other auction to this location for pickup.
