Auction Terms & Conditions The terms of sale are non-negotiable. Registering to bid either live, online or absentee signifies your acceptance of the terms. Your bid is a binding agreement. Do not place a bid unless you intend to honor it. Inspection: All items are located at The Trading Post LLC 2192 HWY 161 Danville, MO. Inspection is ________________________________________________________ . You are advised to inspect items BEFORE bidding. We do our best to describe and photograph items, but we are by no means perfect and may miss something that is important to you. Firearms: Buyers are responsible for knowing the rules and regulations of the state in which they live pertaining to the ownership of firearms. ALL SALES ARE FINAL! If a firearm is purchased and the background check is denied or the firearm cannot be shipped to the buyer's state, the buyer is still responsible for payment of said firearm and the firearm will be sold at our next scheduled firearm auction and under normal contract. Descriptions are based on a visual inspection of the item. We have made no examination of any internal mechanical workings or firing mechanisms. You should have your firearms inspected and serviced by a qualified gunsmith. Firearms must be pickup up in person or shipped to the FFL Licensee of the buyer's choice. All shipping and insurance will be charged to the buyer and is calculated as the actual cost of shipping plus insurance at the published rates. No firearm will be shipped until a signed copy of the appropriate FFL license is emailed to The Trading Post LLC. The email to use is Theactionauctioneer@gmail.com. Any cost of transfer charged by the buyer's FFL licensee will be the responsibility of the buyer. CA residents, your state will not allow you to own certain firearms so please check the list of approved items BEFORE bidding. Shipping: Is available on most small items that can be shipped by USPS or UPS/FedEx Ground. No shipping quotes are given prior to the auction. Shipping will be at the carrier's published rates plus insurance plus any handling fee. Whenever reasonably possible, we will combine shipping and use the most economical shipping method. GUN TERMS AND CONDITIONS Description Gun Terms and Conditions- All guns that require shipping will be shipped through our local FFL at a charge of $30/gun plus the actual shipping chargers. Shipping will be at the buyer's expense. Guns shipped out of the state of Missouri will have to be shipped to your local FFL. Please have the FFL in your area to contact us for all transfers out of state. Federal Firearms Licensee's may take possession of firearms purchased by them on the pickup date of the auction provided they have a current, valid FFL. FELONS: If you are a convicted felon, even if you have had your right to vote restored, you may not be able to own or possess firearms. Please do not bid on these weapons. DOMESTIC VIOLENCE OR RELATED OFFENSES: If you have ever been convicted of a crime involving domestic violence, whether it was a misdemeanor or felony, you may not possess firearms under Federal Law. If you are currently under a restraining order or charges of any kind related to a domestic situation, you may not possess firearms under Federal Law. POSSESSION OF PURCHASED FIREARMS: You will not be given possession of firearms purchased until your payment has cleared the bank. If you pay cash, we can convey the weapon as soon as possible. A valid ID is necessary to purchase/pickup firearms. Following the conclusion of the auction the winning bidder's credit card will be billed for the total amount due. Upon verification of payment from credit card processor The Trading Post, LLC will process a PAID IN FULL receipt and send via e-mail to the bidder. Buyers who wish to pay for purchases by other methods i.e.: Cash or Check MUST contact The Trading Post LLC prior to the close of the auction. Those payments are due before or at time of pickup. If you are paying by check or cash and the item is not picked up & paid for at the specified time your credit card will be charged. Buyer agrees that under no circumstances will he/she initiate a chargeback on his/her credit card. All property is sold "AS IS", and ALL SALES ARE FINAL. The Trading Post, LLC may attempt to describe the merchandise in advertising and on the Internet but makes no representations. In no event shall The Trading Post, LLC be held responsible for having made or implied any warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Bidder shall be the sole judge of value. It is the Bidder's responsibility to determine condition, age, genuineness, value, or any other determinative factor. By placing a bid, bidder signifies that they have examined the items to their satisfaction, or they have chosen not to personally examine them. The Trading Post, LLC reserves the right to reject any bid at their sole discretion. The Trading Post, LLC will not be responsible for any errors or omissions in the description of the merchandise. Bidder agrees that everything is sold "as is" and that they may not return any item they purchase. The Trading Post, LLC is providing Internet bidding as a service to Bidder. Bidder acknowledges and understands that this service may or may not function correctly during the auction. The Trading Post, LLC reserves the right to cancel and/or reopen the auction in case of system failures. Under no circumstances shall Bidder have any claim against The Trading Post, LLC or anyone else if the Internet service fails to work correctly before or during the auction. The Trading Post, LLC will not be responsible for any missed bids from any source. Internet bidders who desire to make certain their bid is acknowledged should verify high bid through online interface. This auction will have a soft closing which means that the first lot will begin closing with another lot closing every 20 seconds and bidding will be extended on lots for 2 minutes if anyone bids on that lot within the last 2 minutes of it closing. Payment information: IF items are not paid for and removed on the scheduled pick up day, the card on file will be charged the total of all lots won plus 15% buyer's premium and applicable sales tax. A settlement link will be emailed to the winning bidders. Winning bidder waives their right to any credit card chargebacks for any reason and understands there are no exchanges, refunds or returns. We will run the card on file for all necessary payments. Please verify your payment information before you bid. A 15% buyer's premium will be charged for all purchases, however, a discount will be offered for cash paying customers. Approved checks only. $30 will be charged for all NSF. We accept cash. Please have exact change. All items are sold as is where is with no warranty written or implied. All sales are final. We spend lots of time taking photos and describing the lots presented for auction, however, use your own research and personal knowledge before bidding. You are the final judge of each item. All measurements are approximate. We strongly advise you to take advantage of our preview. We try to point out flaws but we are human and may miss something important to you. All items must be picked up and paid for by the date specified as pick up date. THERE will be NO alternate pick up date for this auction. If you do not pick up, your card on file will be charged and items will be disposed of or resold as auction company sees fit. PREVIEW DATE October 15th from 5 - 7 PM PICK UP: Saturday October 24th from 10 am - 4pm You must bring help to pack and load as the auction staff will not be able to assist.
