All Items are sold AS-IS, with no warranties, expressed or implied, except as to ownership of the items to be sold. Item listings, information, and/or descriptions provided to the bidder by Venture Auctions or The City of Covington, TN are deemed reliable, but not warranted, and are intended as a guide only. Bidders should inspect auction items carefully, and bid accordingly. Bidder agrees not to base a bid solely on information provided by Venture Auctions or The City of Covington, TN. All sales are final. No effort has been made by the City of Covington, TN or Venture Auctions to inspect or verify the year, make, model, or condition, mechanical or otherwise, of any item on this auction. Many vehicles could potentially run and drive; some vehicles will not. Some vehicles will have keys provided to the purchaser; many vehicles will not. Bidders should bid accordingly. Bidders MUST pay for ALL items upon which that bidder submits a winning bid amount. No exceptions. The City of Covington, TN operates in Tipton County, Tennessee. Purchasers from outside Tipton County, Tennessee bear the sole responsibilty to be knowledgeable of any applicable motor vehicle documents and/or titling processes and requirements that could affect the transfer of a motor vehicle from the City of Covington, TN to an individual or business located in any jurisdiction outside of Tipton County, Tennessee. Purchasers of motor vehicles at the Covington, TN Impound/Surplus Auctions will receive a Paid-in-Full invoice from Venture Auctions, and a Bill-of-Sale and/or other appropriate ownership documents from the City of Covington, TN. Such documents will be wholly sufficient for legal title and/or transfer-of-ownership purposes in Tipton County, Tennessee, as defined by state and local regulations. No further documents will be offered by the City of Covington, TN and/or Venture Auctions. Examples of purchase paperwork will be made available to Registered Bidders upon request. Full Settlement must be made Day of Sale, and is subject to the following guidelines: Buyers may pay in-person, with cash, credit card, or certified funds, until 2pm CST on day of auction ONLY. In-person payments for this auction will be received at the Venture Auctions trailer, located at the City of Memphis Vehicle Impound Lot, at 465 Klinke Ave, Memphis, TN. After 2pm CST, all remaining balances will be charged to buyer's credit card on file, as entered at registration. ANY declined credit card transaction WILL result in an immediate ban for that bidder from attending or participating in ANY future Venture Auctions live, online, and webcast auctions. NO EXCEPTIONS. NO personal checks accepted. Business checks MUST be accompanied by a bank letter of guarantee, and must be approved BEFORE the auction. 10% Buyers Premium applies to all purchases. An additional 3% convenience fee applies to all credit card payments. Buyer is 100% responsible for the removal of any purchased vehicle(s) from auction site. All purchases should be removed from City of Covington property on DAY OF SALE. Items remaining on city property after 2nd business day will be subject to re-impounded, with the buyer subject to forfeiture of entire purchase price, including fees, at the sole discretion of the City of Covington, TN. Copy of Paid Venture Auctions invoice is required for pick up of purchases at auction site. Neither Venture Auctions nor the City of Covington, TN will assist with vehicle removal of any motor vehicle in any way. Repairing and/or working on motor vehicles in any capacity is strictly prohibited on City of Covington, TN property. If a purchased motor vehicle will not drive properly as-is, then that motor vehicle must be removed from lot by a city-approved towing provider. Buyer must show paid invoice in order to remove vehicle(s) from lot. No more than ONE PERSON PER INVOICE will be allowed onto auction lot to remove motor vehicles. Some assistance with loading of large non-wheeled equipment may be provided, at the sole discretion of the City of Covington, TN, and subject to availability of proper equipment and manpower, and at the sole liabilty of the purchaser. Neither Venture Auctions nor the City of Covington, TN will recognize any claims of loss or damage to items, or loss or damage to any involved property of purchaser, including claims of bodily injury, that may occur as a result of assistance with loading any items for purchasers. Purchasers requesting and/or accepting assistance from City of Covington, TN personnel with the loading/transfer of any auction items explicitly accept sole responsibilty and liability for any and all damages to purchaser's property and/or person that may occur, and agree to indemnify Venture Auctions and the City of Covington, TN from the same. All ownership transfer paperwork will be provided by the City of Covington, TN, exclusively, and may be picked up during regular business hours at Covington City Hall, located at 200 Washington Ave., Covington, TN 38019. Copy of Paid Venture Auctions invoice required to attain documents from City of Covington, TN. NO Exceptions. Venture Auctions has no role in the provision of ownership documents associated with this auction. The City of Covington, TN reserves the right to add, delete, or alter any item prior to the opening of live/webcast bidding. Prebids will not be recognized on any vehicle/item that is removed from auction prior to opening of live/webcast bidding. Auction items remaining on City of Covington, TN property after the auction do so at the sole responsibility of the buyer. Neither Venture Auctions nor the City of Covington, TN will recognize any claims for theft, damage, or loss once the item has been awarded. In the event of a tie-bid between online bidders, the tie goes to the first bid recieved. In the event of a tie-bid between any online bid and any live bidder during the live webcast auction, the tie goes to the onsite bidder. Auctioneer's decision is final and binding on all parties in the event of any dispute. Bidder's acknowledgement of this stipulation and consent to abide by it, and all other terms & conditions of this sale, are implied by bidder's decision to register for and participate in the auction, and expressed by bidder's acknowledgement and acceptance of these terms and conditions at the time of registration. Announcements on day of auction take precedence over any printed or previous information.
