HI Bid Auction Terms of Sale 1. Everything will be sold on an as-basis with any warranty or representation whatsoever. All sales are final. Purchaser agrees to pay all cost of removal and purchaser does hereby indemnify and hold harmless auctioneer and seller for any and all damages, claim or liability for injuries to persons or property caused by the removal of items purchased. 2. No purchase may be removed until the conclusion of the auction. Following conclusion of the auction, merchandise purchased must be removed from the premises within the time limits announced by the auctioneer at the sale. Any merchandise not removed within the time limit shall be deemed to have been abandoned by the purchaser and ownership thereof reverts to the seller. 3. No claim will be considered for allowance or adjustment or for the recision of any sale based upon failure of the property to correspond with any standard expected 4. While quantities, descriptions and capacities are believed to be correct there are no guarantees and the auctioneers, owners and advertising counsel will not be held responsible for any written or verbal discrepancies or inaccuracies whatsoever. 5. Overages or shortages above or below estimated counts will be adjusted. HI Bid Payment Terms Currency is in USD. All items must be paid for within three days of auction closing. We accept Checks, Cash, and most credit cards. Please mail checks to: Meridian Equipment ATTN: Auction 5946 Guide Meridian Bellingham, WA 98226 5% Credit Card Fee (Visa & MasterCard) There is a 10% Buyer's Fee on items selling under $2,500.00 (per item, not total) Titled vehicles have a $75.00 additional buyer's fee per title. 8.5% Sales Tax (everything except Motorized vehicles), unless a reseller permit or Farm Exempt permit is provided. Please call 360-398-2141 with any questions. 8.8% Tax on Motorized Vehicles Complete payment for all items purchased are due as posted by the auction company. An invoice of your items purchased will be emailed to you within 1 day of the close of the entire auction. IF YOU DO NOT RECEIVE AN INVOICE PLEASE CALL OUR OFFICE 360-398-2141. Payment methods: Cash, Check, Visa, Master Card, Discover. Credit/Debit cards have an additional 5% fee. Your invoice will not include this fee, it will be added at the time of payment. NSF Check Fee of $35.00 will be charged and bidding privileges suspended. Unsettled Invoices: Invoice will be charged to credit card on registration. Late Payment Notice: Late payments are subject to late fees starting at $25.00.
Pickup and Shipment: Pickup hours will be Monday-Friday 8 AM- 5 PM and Saturday 8 AM- 12PM No Shipping Services offered, Buyer is responsible for all shipping and pickup We are here to assist you with staff and equipment to load your purchases, but the buyer is responsible for any supplies needed to haul and secure the load safely. Pickup or other arrangements must be made within 14 Days. If you can't come within 14 days, please call us at 360-398-2141 and make other arrangements. After 14 days, you will be charged $25.00/day if no arrangements for pickup have been made. Items left after 30 days will become property of Meridian Equipment Inc and will be sold or disposed of for storage fees.
