1. Buyers must be registered to bid to allow you to purchase in an auction. 2. All items are being sold ‘as is’. Photos of each lot are uploaded to the online catalogue. These photos form part of the item description. It is up to the Buyer to exercise due diligence prior to bidding. Contact administration prior to the day of the auction, with any specific queries on an item. 3. We will always endeavour to hold an ‘open day’ within the week of an auction, allowing bidders to view items in person. It is encouraged that you attend, if possible. 4. No items have a ‘sale’ price; they are up for auction only and will be sold to the final highest bidder at the time of the auction. 5. Vendors have the right to withdraw items from an auction at any time prior to the auction starting time. 6. All items remain the property of the vendor until full payment has been received. 7. Absentee bidders must complete and submit the required form by 2pm the day prior to the auction for their bids to be accepted. Email confirmation will be sent should your registration be successful. 8. Online bidders must ensure the correct lot is being bid on before pressing the bid button. There will be no discussion entered into should you accidently bid on the wrong lot. 9. Alterations to the catalogue may take place without notice at any time prior to the beginning of an auction. 10. Payment must be made on the day of sale, when present at the auction venue. All telephone, online and absentee bidders must settle the invoice within 48 hours of it being issued, unless prior arrangements were made. If payment is not made by this time, you forfeit all items to R&A Auctions, giving us the right to resell. 11. Payment plans are not an option – invoice must be paid in full by the specified time frame. 12. All prices are inclusive of GST. 13. Cash, EFTPOS, Credit Card (MasterCard and VISA), Bank Transfer are all accepted methods of payment. A surcharge fee of up to 2.2% will apply to all Credit Card transactions. We do not accept cheques. 14. Successful bidders must pay a 13% premium on each item purchased. 15. If for any reason payment is not made in accordance to these Terms & Conditions, you forfeit the item/s purchased. 16. Winning lots can be packaged by R&A Auctions if required, ready for collection. A fee will be added to your invoice to cover the cost of all packing materials. The amount will vary on the size and number of items purchased. Alternatively, freight can be arranged for most items at the buyer’s expense. We advise you contact the office to find out costs before committing to bid on an item. 17. Once items have been sent from our premises, we will not be held liable for any items lost in transit. Report any issues directly with the freight company. 18. Items purchased must be collected from the auction venue (during business hours), once full payment is received and within 48 hours of the auction ending. 19. In the case that winning lots are not collected by the required time, you forfeit all items to R&A Auctions and give us the right to resell. This is unless prior arrangements have been made and agreed to. By registering to bid at R&A Auctions, you understand and agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you disagree with any of these terms, it is advised that you do not purchase through R&A Auctions.
