REGISTRATION & IDENTIFICATION: When you register for an Edwards Design & Sales auction, the information you submit helps verify who you are so that you can begin the bidding process. Submitted credit card information ensures that you are a qualified buyer. Registrants/bidders must be 18 years of age or older to participate in the auction. BIDDING: Online bidding opens Wednesday, January 9th, 2019 at 4PM. Bidding begins closing on Thursday, January 24th, 2019 at 8PM (90 sec. ‘soft close’ in effect). Please note: Once submitted – no bids can be withdrawn for any reason. ALL ITEMS ARE SOLD IN AS IS, WHERE IS CONDITION. WATCHING ITEMS: During the auction, click the star icon on any item to add it to your WATCHES list (blue button) for that particular auction. Any item upon which you place a bid will automatically be added to your WATCHES list. TRACKING YOUR BIDS: During the auction, check the status of your bids by clicking on the green BIDS button. You can choose to be notified by email during the auction if you have been outbid. However, outbid notifications are not sent out during the last two hours of the sale. MAXIMUM BIDS: We recommend that all bidders add a “Maximum Bid” after placing an online bid. This does not mean you will have to pay the amount of the Maximum Bid; you only pay one bid increment more than the next highest bid, and only up to your Maximum Bid. The HiBid software will place your bids as you would at a live auction and only uses the minimum funds required to beat out other bidders – at the prescribed bid increment, and only up to your Maximum Bid amount. SOFT CLOSE: Items close at 30 second intervals. All bids made in the last minute of the auction will force an auction item to stay ‘open’ for an additional 2 minutes. This will continue until all bidding on the stated item has ceased. PAYMENT, PICKUP & REMOVAL: There is no cost to register as a bidder for this auction. Your credit card will not be charged if you win. All payments for purchased items must be made in person by credit card or cash (NO DEBIT) on pickup day. 13% HST is extra on all items, except where noted. When an auction closes, all winning bidders will receive an email with an attached invoice from Edwards Design & Sales. Purchasers should bring either invoice printout or digital representation of same (on cellphone, etc.). Items cannot be removed until invoice is paid. All items must be removed by Saturday, January 26th at 5PM. Removal shall be at the expense, liability, and risk of the purchaser. SHIPPING is extra. Please contact us if shipping is a requirement. ABANDONED ITEMS: Any item not picked up during the posted pickup times will be considered an abandoned item. If you abandon an item, that item will be posted to a future sale and you may be banned from future auctions. CONDITIONS OF ITEMS CATALOGUED/SOLD: Our best efforts are made to photograph and describe all items as accurately and thoroughly as possible. However, all items are ultimately sold on an AS IS, WHERE IS basis. Although all descriptions and commentary are believed to be accurate, the Auctioneer makes no warranties or representations of any kind with respect to the property, and in no event shall be held responsible for having made or implied any warranty of description, size, genuineness, authorship, attribution, provenance, period, culture, source, origin or condition, etc. CATALOGUE ERRORS & OMISSIONS: If a description does not match a picture in a lot, the description shall take precedence.
