R&T Auctions TERMS OF SALE PLEASE NOTE: All bidders at R&T Auctions acknowledge that they have read these terms and conditions of sale and agree to be bound thereby. Do not bid or participate in Auctions unless you agree to these terms Buyer’s Premium: 10% BUYERS PREMIUM ADDED ON ALL LOTS PURCHASED. Live sales at our facility have a 10% Buyer's Premium. A buyer’s premium is also known as the buyer’s portion of commission and is a fee added on to your bid amount. Be sure to factor the BP into your bids when bidding. For example, if you bid $10, the BP is $1 additional, so you are actually bidding $11. Taxes are applicable to the buyer’s premium. All applicable Ontario sales tax will apply to their sum. Addition to or withdrawal from sale –(live) The Auctioneer reserves the right to withdraw from sale any of the items listed or to sell at this auction items not listed, and reserves the right to group one or more lots into one or more selling lots or to subdivide into two or more selling lots. Whenever the best interest of the seller will be served, the auctioneer reserves the right to sell all the items listed in bulk. Minimum bids – may be placed on some items. The auctioneer has the right at his absolute discretion to refuse any bid (live only). The highest bidder shall be the buyer at the hammer price. Dispute between bidders (live) – If any dispute arises between two or more bidders, the auctioneer may decide the same or may immediately put the lot up for sale again, and resell to the highest bidder. The decision of the auctioneer shall be final and absolute.(live) Condition of items sold: Our best efforts are made to represent all items accurately in descriptions and photographs; however, all items are ultimately sold on an ‘as is, where is’ basis, with all faults. We strongly encourage all bidders to personally verify the condition of each item during the scheduled preview times. No responsibility is assumed by R&T or the seller for any errors or omissions. No claims will be allowed after goods are removed from premises. Payment: All items must be paid for in full conclusion of the auction. We accept Cash (LIVE), Visa, Mastercard and Debit. Items can be paid for anytime throughout the sale and removed immediately after they have been paid for. All purchases will be subject to 13% HST. Removal: All items must be removed the night of the auction or specified pick up times. R&T has a delivery service as an option to you. All details of delivery must be agreed upon by both parties prior to items being left at an auction site. All items left behind without consent of auction management will be deemed abandoned, seized and resold Personal and property risk – Persons attending during exhibition, sale or removal of goods assume all risks of damage of or loss to person and property and specifically release the auctioneer from liability therefore. Neither the auctioneer nor his principal shall be liable due to any defect in or condition of the premises on which the sale is held. All lots – to be sold AS IS, WHERE IS. ALL SALES FINAL.
