Darren and Amanda have found their Dream home in the country and will be relocating. They have decided to sell their home at public auction. This is a very nice family home with lots of space. If you are home shopping in Sheldon, Iowa be sure to come to the open houses to preview the home and visit with our agents about buying at auction.
If you have never bought a home at auction you'll find the experience is actually very simple and you will find our staff will be very helpful and make sure you understand the process the entire way. There is no difference in buying a home at auction or listing, all things are the same. You can get a loan from a bank like you typically would but the terms and conditions will say "all bids are cash bids" This just means that you guarantee you will close, you guarantee you are pre-approved for a loan to use for the transaction. At the auction the auctioneer will call for bids and you will bid against other bidders. The first bid will be the lowest and bids will ascend from there. All of the auction bidding terms and conditions are the same thing for each bidder. The only thing that is negotiated at the auction is the price. The negotiation is accomplished by the bid calling of the auctioneer. The process may seem intimidating to you. If you like this home please be sure to participate and ask our staff questions now, during the preview or during the auction. We will make sure you are comfortable with the process and that you understand what is happening.
