Description	Welcome to Auction 164! We have a strong showing of Worldwide and US stamps, Gold & Silver Coins plus historical Civil War Documents - many Confederate General's Signatures and War pieces from battlefield surrenders to a post-War Jefferson Davis signed letter. Worldwide Mint NH modern (2000-2016) is a highlight with about 100 different countries pristine as ordered direct from new issue subscriptions - all estimated at 20% of catalog value though most are impossible to find and when they do come up on ebay sell for 50% of catalog value and up. Pictures of all are online so check them out and prepare for some exciting bidding. US stamps include Classics, runs of $1 and up Columbians and Trans-Miss, scarce certified revenues and excellent Postal Stationery & Back of the Book. Postal history is another highlight with clean Stampless Cover lots, 1869 issues, beautiful advertising covers - some really unusual and better throughout in singles & group lots. Worldwide coverage as usual with better Australia Kangaroos, some intact specialized country collections (Canada & Newfoundland stand out), plus the normal assortment of Covers, box lots and accumulations. Bidding 1. By placing a bid you accept the terms of sale 2. Every lot shall be bid upon as numbered, any lot may be withdrawn at any time 3. Lots are sold at one advance over the second highest bid 4. All lots are sold for the hammer price plus a 15% buyer's commission 5. All bids will be entered as absentee bids for the live public auction where bidding starts at one advance over the second highest absentee bid Payment 1. Payment is due upon receipt of invoice and will be shipped upon payment 2. Shipping will be by US Postal Service at cost + $2.00 handling per package 3. Successful bidders agree to pay for their purchases. No credit is extended without prior agreement and overdue accounts will be charged 2% per month interest after 30 days. 4. Virginia residents and in-person bidders must pay 5.3% state sales tax Returns 1. Any lot described in error can be returned for a full refund if we are notified in writing via mail or email within 15 days of the auction. 2. If you decide to send any lot for expertization we must be notified in writing via email or mail within 15 days of the auction. For any item expertized as ‘not genuine’ we will refund the cost up to $100.
