Live Webcast Auction
Webcast auction will be July 29, starting at 10:00 AM CST
El Chico Cafe in Mountain Home, AR is shutting its doors and has elected to liquidate the restaurant equipment, furniture, utensils, decor, etc. with Sims Family Auctions, through a webcast auction. Online bidding will be open from July 7th through the end of the auction on July 29, starting at 10:00 AM. There will be three ways to place your bids. You can bid online any time; you can bid live in person at the auction on July 29; or you can bid in real time, online, as the live auction is happening. Along with being a webcast auction, it will also be ran on two platforms. All prebids will sync between the two sites as the lot becomes live at the live auction. We would encourage you to make use of the max bid feature before the live auction begins, in case of technical issues as each item sells. If you leave an online bid, you will be kept in at auction until your max bid is surpassed, or until the opposing bidder(s) quit. Online bidders will have a 10% buyers premium, but will be no buyers premium if you are at the live auction bidding in person. There will be a live preview day on July 22, from 10:30-1:30 so that you can see anything you're interested in bidding on. After this date, equipment will be disconnected and ready for new owners to take. We strongly encourage you to attend the preview, if possible. We will describe items to the best of our ability and knowledge, and will try to take great pictures to answer all your questions. There will be four opportunities to pick up your items. At the conclusion of the live auction, when your items are paid for, they are yours to take. The next will be on July 30 from 8:00-12:00. July 31 from 10:00-2:00. August 1 from 4:00-7:00. We will accept cash, card (4% fee), check, or wire transfer. On larger purchases, we would ask for a bank letter certifying funds on checks. Winning bidders will be responsible for removal of their won lots. Some lots will be extremely heavy, and may require special tools or equipment to remove. Some booths are freestanding, and some are attached and will need to be removed. Please be prepared for this, as tools and movers will not be available from auction company or seller.
