You will need to sign up with a HiBid account and have a valid credit card required for bidding approval, but will have the option to pay with cash or good check at scheduled pick up. In-person pick up is preferred, but we are willing to accommodate shipping on smaller items. If in question, please inquire for shipping approval. We provide in person previews by appointment only at the discretion of Heirloom Auctions.
Payment Instructions:
A 15% on-line buyer's premium will be added to all sales conducted via on-line auction conducted by Heirloom Auction. 5.5% Sales Tax Applies to all purchases to all bidders that are not tax exempt -THIS APPLIES TO THE TOTAL WINNING BID + BUYERS PREMIUM. All payments due by pick-up day, no exceptions. If a buyer fails to pay in full for an item the buyer will be black listed and not allowed to participate in any Heirloom auctions and reported to other HiBid auction companies as a non-paying bidder.
Acceptable Payment Methods:
Cash, good check (Letter of credit may be required if buyer is unknown to the auction company), wire transfer, or credit card with an additional 5% fee. *Invoices over $300 will require a wire transfer, Venmo, Zelle, Paypal unless prior arrangements are made with the auction company* Auction company reserves the right to request a wire transfer for any payment if necessary. No Credit Card Purchases over $300, payment must be cash/good check or wire transfer. If you have been approved for shipping, a wire transfer may be requested for any amount.
All Sales Final:
Bidder understand ands accept that all items are sold “As-is, where-is” with no returns. We are unable to test or thoroughly inspect every item we list and sell. If damage or defects are found we try to the best of our ability to alert bidders in the item descriptions. You must closely examine the photographs as we show what item defects we find (if any) to the best of our ability.
Storage Fees:
Storage fees of $10 per day and will begin 7days after the day of auction close. Any items that are not picked up within 15 days are considered to be abandoned and become the property of Heirloom Auctions No refunds will be given, buyer is still responsible for all storage fees.
Shipping:
We shall not be liable for delays and/or failures in delivery if shipper can't gain access to the property. We do not take responsibility for goods that have been damaged or lost during shipping. Additional charges may apply for the storage of the products if the customer delays pickup, for more than two weeks. BIDDERS NEEDING SHIPPING - Shipping and handling charges will be added to separate invoice and are NON-REFUNDABLE. Shipping will be based on costs via UPS FedEX or USPS (best way). Handling for items is $5 per box, not to exceed 15LBs per box (multiple items will be combined if possible). Handling and insurance will vary in cost depending on each invoice. All packages will be shipped with insurance. Items will ship seven to fourteen (7-14) business days after payment is received. If you have bid on items that are not eligible for shipping, any of those items that are not picked up on those days, the card on file will be charged and they will be considered forfeited unless prior arrangements are made with the auction company. If you bid and requested shipping, but were not approved for shipping, you card will be charged and items considered forfeited unless the auctioneer agrees to ship the items.
Rights:
Heirloom Auctions reserves the right to withdraw or re-catalog items in this auction if necessary. The auction company reserves the right to decline bidders if necessary. Without limiting other remedies, we may limit, suspend or terminate our service and user accounts, prohibit access to our sites and their content, services and tools, delay or remove hosted content, and take technical and legal steps to keep users off the sites if we think that they are creating problems or possible legal liabilities (for example, and without limitation, policies related to shill bidding, conducting off-Heirloom transactions, feedback manipulation, circumventing temporary or permanent suspensions or users who we believe are harassing our employees or other users). Additionally, we may, in appropriate circumstances and at our discretion, suspend or terminate accounts of users who may be repeat infringers of intellectual property rights of third parties. We also reserve the right to cancel unconfirmed accounts or accounts that have been inactive for a long time, or to modify or discontinue Heirloom sites, services or tools. Online only bidding is a service that is provided and bidders acknowledge and understand that it may not function properly. The auction company reserves the right to cancel, postpone or pause the auction if complications or circumstances out of our control occur. We will not be held responsible for any missed bids from the system, please consider using the max bid feature which allows your bid to be treated as absentee bid. Heirloom Auction reserves the right to end items or auctions for any reason.
