TERMS AND CONDITIONS 1. Registration Requirements All bidders must be at least 18 years of age. A valid credit card and complete contact information are required for registration. Mission Critical Corporate & Estate Downsizing reserves the right to approve or deny any bidder registration at its sole discretion based on bidding history and past performance. 2. Bidding Notice This is an online-only auction conducted through the HiBid platform. All bids are final and cannot be retracted once placed. Bidders are strongly encouraged to read all item descriptions and review all photos before bidding. Placing a bid constitutes a binding agreement to purchase. 3. Preview Dates There are no in-person previews for this auction. Please rely on photos and descriptions provided. 4. Auction Close This auction features a soft close. If a bid is placed within the final moments of an item’s closing, bidding for that lot will automatically be extended. Lots will begin closing at the date and time specified in the auction listing. 5. Payment Terms Payment is due immediately after the auction closes. Your credit card on file with HiBid will be charged for the total purchase amount, including the buyer’s premium, applicable sales tax, and any shipping and handling charges. Accepted forms of payment: Credit/Debit Card (processed through HiBid) Cash at pickup (by prior arrangement only) A buyer’s premium of 18% will be added to all purchases. West Virginia sales tax (6%) will be applied to all invoices unless the buyer has a verified tax-exempt status (see Section 6 below). 6. Tax Exemption Bidders claiming tax-exempt status must notify Mission Critical Corporate & Estate Downsizing prior to bidding and provide a valid, up-to-date resale or exemption certificate. Tax exemption cannot be applied retroactively after the auction has closed. If you fail to provide your exemption documentation before bidding, sales tax will be charged and cannot be refunded. 7. Item Removal / Pick-Up Pick-Up Location: Charles Town, WV. 25414 Pick-Up Dates & Times: Saturday November 16, 2025 | 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM Pick Up location will be sent to winning bidders only. No alternate pick-up dates or times are available. We are contractually obligated to vacate the premises by the end of the day on Sunday, November16, 2025. Failure to pick up during the scheduled times will result in forfeiture of your items. No refunds will be issued. Buyers must bring their own labor, tools, and packing materials. Mission Critical staff will not be available to assist with loading or removal. Shipping is available only on select items as noted in individual listings. If an item is not marked for shipping, it cannot and will not be shipped. 8. Shipping Shipping is available on select items at the buyer’s expense. Buyers must request shipping at registration or within 48 hours of auction close to avoid delays. Mission Critical is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage once items are in transit. All items are packaged carefully using appropriate materials; however, shipping is at the buyer’s risk. 9. Condition & Guarantees All items are sold AS-IS, WHERE-IS, with no warranties or guarantees expressed or implied. Descriptions and photographs are provided to the best of our knowledge but are not guaranteed to be complete or entirely accurate. Bidders are responsible for examining all available information and asking questions prior to bidding. 10. Default & Non-Payment If payment is not received within 48 hours of auction close, the bidder’s account may be suspended, and items may be offered to the backup bidder. Repeated non-payment will result in permanent removal from future auctions. 11. Liability Buyers assume all risks associated with the removal, transport, and use of purchased items. Mission Critical Corporate & Estate Downsizing and its affiliates are not liable for injuries, damages, or losses incurred before, during, or after the auction, including at pick-up or during use of any purchased items. 12. Governing Law This auction is conducted in accordance with the laws of the State of West Virginia. Any disputes shall be resolved in the appropriate West Virginia jurisdiction. 13.
