TERMS & CONDITIONS:
By registering and bidding on our auction, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions:
YOUR FINAL invoice amount will be the total of your winning bid, 15% buyer's premium, and sales tax if applicable. Actual shipping cost +$5.00 handling fee will be invoiced to your registered email address for the cost of your shipment. If shipping invoice is not paid within 5 business days, your item will be forfeited and no refund will be given.
DUE TO the increase in credit card chargebacks, any lots of SILVER, GOLD or Currency OR any invoice totaling $100 or more, will require an electronic signature before your credit card is charged.
AT THE end of the auction, you agree to have your credit card on file charged the total purchase price of all items purchased for the auction. If local, SC Sales will be included on your invoice. No sales tax charged on US Currency. For any special payment arrangements, please contact Gail 864-932-6465 at least 48 hours before the auction ends. If your CC on file with HiBid is Declined, you will receive a separate invoice, due within 48 hours, and you may be banned from bidding on our auctions (unless prior arrangements are made).
RESPONSIBILITY FOR Online Bids. YOU are responsible for all bids transmitted from YOUR computer or from YOUR Bidder Account. If a Winning Bid is sent from YOUR computer or using YOUR Bidder Account, YOU will be considered the Buyer of record by DGM Auction Services.
NO CREDIT Card Chargebacks. You agree that such you will not, under any circumstances, initiate a credit card chargeback with respect to any purchases at our Auction. You further agree that if, in violation of these Terms and Conditions, a credit card chargeback is initiated, these Bidder Terms and Conditions will be conclusive evidence of your agreement not to initiate a credit card chargeback; and you acknowledge and agree that on the presentation of these Bidder Terms and Conditions to the bank, credit card company, or other financial institution that issued the credit card on which charges were made, such bank, credit card company, or other financial institution will reverse or deny any credit card chargeback, and will re-credit all amounts to or for the account of DGM Auction Services. If, in violation of these Bidder Terms and Conditions, you initiate a credit card chargeback, even if successful, you will remain liable for all purchases made at our Auction, and you will be responsible for all costs and expenses, including attorneys’ fees, incurred by or on behalf of DGM Auction Services and/or any Seller(s) in challenging the credit card chargeback and in collecting payment. Your agreement not to initiate a credit card chargeback is a condition to your placing a bid on our auction. DGM Auction Services is relying on your agreement not to initiate a credit card chargeback in accepting your Bidder Registration and in permitting you to bid during the Auction.
ALL PROPERTY is sold "as is where is" without guarantee or warranty of any kind. All sales are final! (ABSOLUTELY NO RETURNS OR REFUNDS). We encourage you to thoroughly inspect every item that you wish to bid on. It is the bidder's responsibility to determine age, condition, etc. Keep in mind, most items we sell are in used condition unless otherwise stated. Expect some dents, dings, scratches, wear, and damage that may not be seen in the pictures. Please ask questions before bidding. By placing a bid you are entering a legal and binding contract. Written or oral descriptions are our opinions only and in no way should be considered as a guarantee or warranty of any kind. The auctioneer reserves the right to reject any bids that are deemed inappropriate or withdraw any item before or during the auction.
ALL ITEMS are to be picked up during stated pick-up times designated. Items not picked up during that time will be considered abandoned and subject to forfeiture with NO REFUND. Ownership of said items will revert back to DGM Auction Services and may be resold, disposed of, or donated.
ALL OF our auctions have a soft close.
BUYER DOES hereby indemnify and hold harmless the auctioneer and seller from any and all damages, claims, or liabilities from injuries to persons or property of any type whatsoever caused during the sale or by the removal or shipping of items purchased.
WHILE DESCRIPTIONS are believed to be accurate, the auctioneer nor the seller makes no warranty or guarantee, expressed or implied. DGM Auction Services shall not be held responsible for advertising discrepancies or inaccuracies.
ANY ANNOUNCEMENTS made on the day of sale supersede all printed material. Auctioneer reserves the right to reject the bid of anyone who is not a registered bidder.
AUCTIONEER HAS no responsibility for internet bidding interruption or delays beyond our control. Internet bidders should be aware that due to the nature of the internet, delays in transmission could result in the possibility of your bid not being recognized. Auctioneer (or representative) reserves the right to advance the bidding on any lot.
ALL SALES ARE FINAL - A successful bid at auction, whether live or online, constitutes a legally binding contract of sale. All sales are final. There will be no refunds, returns or exchanges.
