MCGEE AUCTION & APPRAISAL SERVICES - TERMS & CONDITIONS
BIDDING: All bids are binding. When you bid, you enter a legal obligation to complete the purchase. Bidders are personally responsible for all bids placed under their bidder number. All property is sold AS-IS, WHERE-IS with no warranties, guarantees, refunds, or exchanges. McGee Auction makes every effort to provide accurate descriptions; however, all measurements, descriptions, and counts are approximate. Printed or verbal statements are offered in good faith but are matters of opinion. Buyers are responsible for inspecting items prior to bidding and for determining condition, completeness, and suitability.
PAYMENT: All purchases must be paid in full at the conclusion of the auction. Credit cards on file will be charged the day of the auction for purchases up to $1,000. Balances over $1,000 require payment by cash, certified check, or bank wire. Purchases over $500 must be paid by certified funds or bank wire before shipping. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. A temporary authorization may appear on your account before the sale. A 15% Buyer's Premium will be added to all purchases. South Carolina sales tax will be applied unless a valid resale or exemption certificate is submitted to mcgeeauction@gmail.com prior to auction close.
PICK-UP & REMOVAL: Pick-up times will be posted under "Dates" on our website. Buyers must remove items at the scheduled time. Buyers are solely responsible for loading, packing, and transporting purchases. We do not provide movers, tools, or packing materials. For large or heavy items, professional movers are strongly recommended. All items must be removed within 48 hours of auction close unless otherwise noted. Items not removed will be considered abandoned with no refunds issued. Abandoned items are subject to disposal fees and/or may be shipped at the buyer's expense.
SHIPPING: McGee Auction does not provide in-house shipping. If available, buyers must coordinate with our preferred courier or a shipper of their choice at their own expense. Purchases must be paid in full before release to any shipping service.
DEFAULTS & DISPUTES: Any unpaid balances are subject to a $100 insufficient funds fee plus all attorney and collection costs. Nonpayment will result in permanent removal from bidding privileges and may result in legal action. All disputes will be governed by South Carolina law with venue in Lexington County, SC.
GENERAL: McGee Auction reserves the right to reject any bid or bidder at its discretion. By registering and bidding, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
