Terms & Conditions By registering on and/or bidding this auction you agree to these Terms and Conditions. 1. Registration & Bidding • All bidding requires online registration. • Under the U.C.C., all auctions are considered reserved unless explicitly advertised as absolute. During a reserve auction, the auctioneer may accept bids from the seller or the seller’s agent. • When you place a bid and win, you have entered a binding contract and are expected to pay for the item. • In the event of a contested bid, bidding will reopen to the last two bidders. • The auctioneer reserves the right to accept bids in any increment deemed in the seller’s best interest. • All announcements made on the day of the sale take precedence over printed material. 2. Condition of Items • All items are sold “AS IS, WHERE IS” with no guarantees of any kind. • All sales are final. • There is a 20% restocking fee on any returned items. • It is the bidder’s responsibility to evaluate condition, age, authenticity, and value based on titles, descriptions, and photographs. • UJJ Cards provides descriptions and photos as a courtesy, but makes no guarantees and is not responsible for errors or omissions. • Coins are guaranteed authentic, but grading is subjective and not guaranteed. • Neither UJJ Cards nor its agents make any warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. 3. Returns / Shipping Damage • Once a bid is won, returns are accepted at the sole discretion of UJJ Cards. UJJ Cards may choose to deny returns for any reason. All returns are subject to a 20% stocking fee. • If an item is damaged during shipping, the buyer must file a claim with the shipping insurance carrier. Insurance is the buyer’s responsibility. All shipping over $100 will have shipping insurance coverage equal to the total hammer price plus total buyer’s premium for all won lots. The cost of this insurance is the buyer’s responsibility. 4. Internet & Technical Issues • Under no circumstances may bidders hold UJJ Cards or their agents responsible for issues caused by the internet auction provider or technical failures. 5. Buyer’s Premium • A 21% buyer’s premium applies to all purchases. 6. Payment Options Accepted payment methods: • Checks payable to UJJ Cards (must clear by email before the auction begins: ujjcards@gmail.com) (must clear before shipping) • Money Orders / Certified / Cashier’s Checks (must clear by email before the auction begins: ujjcards@gmail.com) ***Important***: Your card on file with HiBid will be charged immediately after the close of auction for the hammer price plus buyer’s premium plus credit card processing fees (3%) for all won lots. You must notify us by email (ujjcards@gmail.com) and receive an emailed approval before the auction begins for other payment forms. An Invoice for shipping, shipping insurance, handling and any other shipping related costs will follow. All invoices must be paid in full before items are shipped. If the charges to the buyer’s card on file do not go through you will notified via email and phone call. If payment is not received within 72 hours of the first credit card charge attempt all item winning bids are forfeit will be re-listed. Shipping Information We expect to ship all items approximately 4-7 business days from the close of auction. All items will be packed neatly and with care. We respect the hobby! We DO NOT offer pickup. • All packages over $100 include standard insurance. • All packages over $100 will be shipped with insurance paid for by the buyer. • Packages over $1,000 ship signature required. • Shipping, shipping insurance, handling, and shipping related charges appear on your final invoice. This invoice must be paid in full before items will ship. • Shipping is not combined across multiple auction dates. Lost or Damaged Packages • Bidders have 45 days to report lost or damaged packages. If a package arrives with damage please photograph or video the box and unpacking of its contents. Please report any issues including photos and/or video of box and content damage to: ujjcards@gmail.com. • Claims will be filed and reimbursement issued at the discretion of UJJ Cards. • After 90 days, the insurance window closes, and UJJ Cards is no longer responsible or required to issue reimbursement.
