Welcome to HCE Auctions! This auction is our third time offering consignment lots from a single consignor who offers the following description: "This excellent 228 lot selection from a private collection features better, key, scarce and rare to very rare coins from the origin country of well over half of the earth’s population!! No fillers included, each and every lot is, at the very least, both desirable and highly collectable. Two large paragraphs and only being through half of the listings quickly showed it would be next to impossible to describe the best pieces included as there are simply so many of them. All levels of collectors are well accounted for and will definitely find many, many pieces to peak their interest. Novice, intermediate and advanced collectors alike will find outstanding additions to add to their accumulations. A huge percentage of these coins are silver. A hot commodity in today’s market with values in and around the $50.00 per ounce range. Keep in mind this is always quoted in US dollars and after including a typical exchange rate of 40%, you are looking at about $70.00 per ounce of silver in Canadian dollars. For example, a worn 1965 Canada silver dollar currently has a melt value of over $40.00!! Many, many coins offered here have a starting price below the current melt value. Highly defined pictures and scans of the front and back of all items where it is necessary will be provided.
