The Browns were collectors for many years and have a large varity of collectibles. Brown & Thigpen will be conducting several auctions containing items from their collection so keep watching. Items have been moved to Brown & Thigpen Auctions LLC Auction house located at 110 NE Railroad St. Wallace NC 28466.
Viewing will be available from December 29, 2025, through January 2, 2026, between 10 AM and 3 PM EST, or by appointment by calling Office 910-285-9955, Ada Brown at 910-289-0532, or Lonnie Thigpen at 910-290-1461.
DO NOT PURCHASE A GUN IF YOU WILL NOT PASS A BACKGROUND CHECK All pistols require a background check. Antique guns except for black powder require background check. After auction and after payment to Brown & Thigpen guns will be delivered to Honeycutt Pawn. Buyer must contact dealer the following week and arrange a time for pickup. If you place a bid on an item other than a firearm and you are the winning bidder you are then responsible for payment and pickup of the item or items. We can make arrangements to ship any items you purchase once payment has been made. Payment must be made by 3PM Monday, January 5 at 110 N. E. Railroad St, Wallace, NC 28466. Brown & Thigpen will contact all winning bidders. All property is sold in “AS IS” and “WHERE IS” condition. ALL SALES ARE FINAL. Bidder understands and agrees that no refunds, exchanges, adjustments, charge backs, etc, will be allowed. Property is available for inspection at specified times and it is the bidder's responsibility to determine condition. Bidder's failure to inspect any item or lot will not constitute grounds for any claim, refund, adjustment, charge back, etc. All descriptions have been gathered from sources which we believe to be reliable but are not guaranteed. Auctioneer makes no warranty expressed or implied of any kind with respect to condition, authenticity, provenance, source, condition, suitability for a particular purpose, etc.. FIREARMS: All winning bids on guns requiring a background check must be picked up in person or arrangements can be made by gun dealer for shipping. Buyer must pay shipping cost. Deadline: All items must be picked up by January 9, 2026 3 PM, Items not picked up by this time will be considered abandoned and forfeited, with no refunds. Commitment to Bid Responsibly By bidding, you confirm that you can meet the pickup requirements stated above. Bids cannot be withdrawn once placed, and all sales are final.
