Welcome to the University of Michigan Vehicle and Equipment Auction.
We know you are anxious to begin bidding, however it is critical that you fully understand and agree to the following terms and conditions of this online only auction. By participating in this auction, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

AUCTION BEGINS: 9 AM Thursday June 5th, 2025
AUCTION ENDS: 7 PM Thursday June 12th, 2025 (Soft Close)
INSPECTION:
There will only be 1 LIVE Preview- Wednesday June 4th from 1-3PM (Eastern Time) @ Wolverine Tower- in the back of the Yellow Parking Lot behind Wendy’s & Buffalo Wild Wings- 3001 S State St. Ann Arbor, MI 48108.
MERCHANDISE PICK INFORMATION:
Friday-Saturday June 13th & 14th from 9 AM - 2 PM @ Wolverine Tower - 3001 S State St. Ann Arbor, MI 48108 (Same as the preview location).
All items, must be picked up on the published move out date(s) and if they are not, Braun and Helmer Auction Service reserves the right to forfeit your items. Buyers are responsible for rigging, loading, and moving all items purchased without assistance from Braun and Helmer Auction Service or the University of Michigan.
Merchandise becomes the full responsibility of the buyer at time of payment and the buyer assumes all risk of loss and damage to property at that time.
PAYMENT:
** Buyer's Premium: A buyers' premium of 4% of the high bid will be added to the high bid to determine the final selling price for the auction lot. **
Braun and Helmer Auction Service accepts the following forms of payment: Cash, Cashier’s Check, Personal or Company Checks. (Checks made to Braun and Helmer Auction Service.) No checks outside of the state of Michigan are accepted (unless approved).
The Michigan State sales tax (6%) will be paid at the Secretary of State.
** 1st time bidders who plan on spending more than $20,000 must be approved. (Call David @ 734.368.1733) **
If paying with CASH or CASHIERS / CERTIGIED CHECK you will be given the title/s at pick up. If you pay by PERSONAL or BUSINESS CHECK the title/s will be mailed via USPS by certified mail after business 10 days from the conclusion of the pickup. Additionally, we would be glad to arrange a face to face pick up after the 10 days.
Titles must be filled out and signed at checkout regardless of payment type.
DISCLAIMER:
All lots sell AS IS / WHERE IS with all faults. Braun and Helmer Auction Service and the seller do not give or make any type of guarantee or warranty regarding the lots to be sold, implied or otherwise. All vehicles are being sold as running unless otherwise stated in the listing.
Braun and Helmer Auction Service has attempted to provide accurate descriptions of all items, however, it is your exclusive responsibility as a bidder to determine the condition and suitability of each lot. Printed statements, descriptions and accounts by Braun and Helmer Auction Service staff are provided in good faith and are matters of opinion.
Vehicles are in running order unless noted in the description. The pictures and descriptions provide information on the condition. It is not the policy of Braun and Helmer to hide any issues or problems with the vehicles. If most cases we can provide additional pictures or information up to 24 hours prior to auction day.
AUCTION BIDDING & TIPS:
Beginning at the stated closing time, the auction software will conclude bidding for one lot every minute in catalog order with the following exception: if a bid is placed within the last three 30 seconds remaining for that auction lot, bidding for that lot will remain open for an additional 30 seconds. Some lots may be grouped together so that a bid on one lot will extend the time on all lots in that group.
We recommend that you bid early and become familiar with the software. Not everyone has high speed internet and it make take longer for you to place your bids. Something to consider is that at the end of the auction, there may be multiple people attempting to bidding the same amount at virtually the same time. Because of this we do not guarantee that your bids will be executed to your satisfaction. Therefore, in order to minimize potentially missing a bid we recommend placing a Max Bid.
The bidding increments for this auction will be $250.00 for Vehicles and will vary on equipment based on value.
The auction company reserves the right to reject any bids for any reason.
DEBT COLLECTIONS AND INTEREST CHARGES:
The buyer agrees to pay all reasonable attorney fees and other costs incurred by Braun and Helmer Auction Service in its efforts to collect unpaid funds from the buyer. The buyer agrees that a fee of 10% of the outstanding balance per month be added to any unpaid balance due Braun and Helmer Auction Service. Any debt collection or dispute proceedings will be heard in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Limitation of Liability If, for any reason, Braun and Helmer Auction Service is unable to make available or deliver any Purchase, or portion thereof, or documentation required in respect of any Purchase, the sole liability of Braun and Helmer Auction Service, if any, shall be the return of monies paid in respect of such Purchase upon its return by Purchaser.
NON-PAYING & RESELLING
In addition to the above, understand that we are working for our seller. We have zero tolerance for non-paying bidders and we will proceed aggressively to rectify such situations.
Age Requirement All bidders must be 18 years of age or older.
Braun and Helmer Auction Service reserves the right to resell any property not paid for in full by the conclusion of the stated pickup period. In any such event, the Buyer will still be responsible for payment for the original purchase and the costs of collection of this payment and/or damages resulting from the resale of the property.
BIDDER INFORMATION AND SECURITY:
All registration information the bidder provides to Braun and Helmer Auction Service shall be current, complete, and accurate. All bidders are responsible for any bids placed under their bidding numbers and passwords. The security of bidder information is the responsibility of the bidder. Bidders must notify Braun and Helmer Auction Service if they believe that their bidder number and password have been compromised.
