Big D Discount – Auction Policy
General Auction Rules
1. All items are sold to the highest bidder.
2. All sales are FINAL unless otherwise stated in writing by management.
3. Buyers are responsible for inspecting items before placing a bid.
4. All bids are binding and represent a commitment to purchase.
Payment
1. Winning bidders must pay in full on the day of the auction unless other arrangements are
approved by management.
2. Items not paid for within the required time may be offered to the next highest bidder or
placed back into the auction.
3. Only approved payment methods accepted by the store may be used.
Item Pickup
1. Purchased items must be picked up within the timeframe specified by management.
2. Items not picked up within the allowed time may be subject to storage fees or resale
without refund.
3. Buyers are responsible for loading, transporting, and securing their purchases.
Item Condition
1. All items are sold AS IS, WHERE IS, with all faults and defects, whether known or
unknown.
2. Big D Discount makes no warranties or guarantees, expressed or implied, regarding any
item sold.
3. Item descriptions are provided for reference only and are not a guarantee of condition,
completeness, or functionality.
4. CHECK THAT YOU HAVE RECIEVED ALL YOUR ITEMS BEFORE LEAVING THE WAREHOUSE.
Return Policy
1. All auction sales are final.
2. No returns, exchanges, refunds, store credit, or chargebacks will be accepted for
auction purchases, except as outlined below.
3. No refunds will be issued due to missing parts, cosmetic damage, operational issues,
incorrect assumptions about an item, or buyer's remorse.
4. It is the bidder's responsibility to inspect items before bidding.
Exceptions for Store Errors
If Big D Discount makes an error, such as providing the wrong item or selling an item that
cannot be located after purchase:
? For items with a value of more than $20, Big D Discount may issue store credit equal to
the purchase price.
? For items with a value of $20 or less, the customer may select merchandise from the
store with a selling price equal to the amount paid for the item.
? No cash refunds will be issued unless required by law or approved by management.
All resolutions for store errors are subject to management approval and will be handled at the
sole discretion of Big D Discount.
Bidder Conduct
1. All participants are expected to act respectfully and professionally.
2. Any attempt to manipulate bidding, interfere with the auction process, or engage in
fraudulent activity will result in immediate removal from the auction and may lead to a
ban from future events.
3. Management reserves the right to reject or cancel any bid at its sole discretion.
Management Rights
1. Big D Discount reserves the right to modify auction rules, remove items from sale, refuse
service, or cancel an auction at any time without prior notice.
2. The auctioneer&;s decisions are final in the event of any dispute.
Liability
1. Big D Discount is not responsible for accidents, injuries, losses, or damages that occur on
the premises or after items leave the property.
2. Buyers assume all responsibility for purchased items upon payment and pickup.
By placing a bid, the bidder acknowledges and agrees to all terms and conditions of this
Auction Policy.
