Pickup & Forfeiture Policy • Deadlines: Buyers have 5 business days from the auction closing date to claim their items, pick them up, or make shipping arrangements. • Forfeiture: Any items unclaimed after 5 business days will be forfeited and resold by MLC Homes. No refunds will be issued for forfeited items. • Deliveries: Any packages returned to MLC Homes or "unsigned for" deliveries will be forfeited. 4. Condition of Sale • All items are sold "As-Is, Where-Is" with no guarantees or warranties. • Once a bid is placed, it cannot be retracted. • All sales are final. No returns, exchanges, or refunds. ONLINE BIDDING: This is a timed, Online-only Auction; the highest bid online when the bidding closes will be the winning bid for the item. This auction will incorporate a "SOFT CLOSE". Bidding within the last 1 minute before the closing of an item will extend the bidding time by an additional 1 minute. This prevents individuals from placing a bid on an item at the last second in order to prevent others from bidding more. ITEMS: Sold "As Is, Where Is" All items are sold "AS IS, WHERE IS" with no warranty or guarantees, expressed or implied, by the seller MLC homes. BIDDERS: accept all auction items/property "WITH ALL FAULTS", whether or not immediately apparent. It is strongly recommended that bidders thoroughly inspect items before placing a bid. Items are described as accurately as possible, but do not represent any guarantee by the seller or MLC homes, By placing a bid, bidder signifies that they have inspected the item to their satisfaction. Pictures and Item Descriptions Multiple photos will be included in item descriptions whenever possible; however, photos may or may not fully represent the item. Lighting, surroundings and other factors can affect the perception of an item in a photo; therefore, all bidders are responsible for their own personal inspection of the item(s) before placing a bid. Photos and descriptions are to be used as a guideline only. Auction Software used by MLC homes will not be held liable for any software or software malfunction discrepancies. Please contact us at (515) 230 5534 if you do not receive an invoice from us within 48 hours of auction close. Payment must be received at time of checkout and pickup following the conclusion of the auction. If payment is not received or payment arrangements made within 1 day after the conclusion of the auction, the buyer will lose all right, title and interest to the item(s), including any and all monies. Auction items will not be released for pickup until payment is made in full. Failure to comply with these terms will prohibit bidder from participating in future on-line auctions conducted by MLC homes. ITEMS: Pickup/Removal of item(s) won on auction shall be at the expense, liability and risk of the buyer. Any Items not removed at the allotted checkout time, unless arrangements have been made and agreed upon by seller, will be considered abandoned and the purchaser will lose all right, title and interest to the property, including any and all moneys from the buyer. YOU ARE CERTIFYING THAT YOU ARE ON AUTHORIZED USER OF THE CREDIT CARD PROVIDED AND THAT YOU WILL NOT DISPUTE THE PAYMENT WITH YOUR CREDIT CARD COMPANY. Payment & Bidding Terms 1. Example Calculation: > If you win an item for $100.00: • $100.00 (Winning Bid) + $15.00 (15% Premium) = $115.00 • $115.00 + $5.75 (5% Card Fee) = $120.75 Total (plus applicable tax/shipping) 3. Pickup & Shipping Deadlines We have limited warehouse space, so we require timely retrieval of all items: • Claim Period: Buyers have 5 business days from the auction close to pick up their items or confirm shipping arrangements. • Forfeiture Policy: Any items left unclaimed after 5 business days—without prior written arrangements—will be considered forfeited. • Resale: Forfeited items will be returned to our inventory and resold. No refunds will be issued for forfeited property. 4. Security & Disputes By bidding in our auction, you authorize MLC Homes to charge your card for the total amount of your winnings, including premiums and fees. Any chargebacks or payment disputes will result in a permanent ban from all future MLC Homes auctions.
