Terms and Conditions for the Guadalupe County Surplus Auction
Introduction
This is a simulcast impound auction with both a live onsite audience and internet bidding. Neither the auction company nor Guadalupe County assumes any responsibility for your safety while on the premises.
1. Internet Bidding Disclaimer
Neither the county nor the auction company is responsible for slow internet connections or missed bids. If you are bidding online and the screen indicates you have been outbid, do not wait to bid again if the item is within your budget, especially during fair warning. Bid increments are at the discretion of the auctioneer.
2. Catalog Disclaimer
This catalog is provided as a guide only. The auctioneer does not warrant the description, make, model, year, VIN, or condition of any lot. Inspection times are provided for your own evaluation.
3. Preview and Inspection
Preview and inspection time: Friday, May 8th from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Sale day inspection: 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM. No one under 18 years of age is allowed in the auction lot. Valid ID required.
4. Titles and Paperwork
Vehicle titles and auction receipts will be issued only to the registered bidder. You have 20 days to complete title transfer.
5. Condition of Items
All items are sold as is, where is, with no guarantees expressed or implied.
6. Payment Terms
Accepted payment methods include credit cards, cash, and local checks.
7. Payment Deadline
All payments must be received within 60 minutes of the close of the auction.
8. Buyer's Premium
On-site: 10%. Online: 12%.
9. Removal of Items
Items must be removed within designated removal times.
10. Licensing Information
This auctioneer is licensed and regulated by the State of Texas. License #18090.
11. Recording Notice
All sales are recorded manually and electronically.
