1. Buyer Agreement
By registering and placing a bid in this auction, you acknowledge and agree to all terms and conditions listed herein. This is a legally binding agreement. Bidders must be 18 years of age or older.
2. All Sales Are Final
All items are sold “AS IS, WHERE IS” with no guarantees or warranties, expressed or implied. No refunds, returns, or exchanges will be accepted under any circumstances.
It is the bidder’s responsibility to carefully read descriptions, review photos, and/or request clarification before bidding. Once a bid is placed, the bidder is obligated to complete the purchase.
3. Payment Terms
All invoices must be paid in full by pick up day.
We reserve the right to automatically charge the credit card on file upon auction close.
Accepted payment methods: Visa, MasterCard, Amex (via card on file), or cash at pickup (if noted).
Unpaid invoices may result in account suspension, forfeiture of items, and legal action.
4. Buyer’s Premium & Taxes
A 15% Buyer’s Premium will be added to each winning bid.
Applicable sales tax (HST) will be charged unless a valid reseller certificate is provided prior to bidding.
5. Pickup & Removal
Pickup must be completed on the dates and times listed in the auction details.
Location: 1208 Ewart street, Lefroy, ON
Buyers must present a valid photo ID and paid invoice at pickup.
Buyers are solely responsible for bringing help, tools, and packaging materials.
Any items not picked up within the scheduled time will be considered forfeited without refund.
If shipping is offered, it must be arranged via email within 24 hours of auction close. All shipping costs are the buyer’s responsibility.
6. Item Condition & Descriptions
Most items are sourced from missed freight, customer returns, shelf pulls, and reverse logistics.
Conditions may include new, open box, used, damaged, or incomplete.
We make every effort to describe items accurately, but no guarantees are made as to completeness, functionality, or accuracy of descriptions.
Photos may be stock images or actual product images. Always read the description carefully before bidding.
7. Bidding
Once placed, bids cannot be canceled or retracted.
We encourage bidders to use the “max bid” feature for automated bidding.
Soft close in effect: If a bid is placed in the final seconds, the countdown will reset by 60 seconds to prevent bid sniping.
8. Disputes
In the event of a dispute, Mad Bids’ decision is final. We reserve the right to refuse service to any bidder for any reason.
9. Liability
Mad Bids is not responsible for accidents, injury, loss, theft, or damage occurring at pickup. Once an item is declared “sold,” the bidder assumes all risk and responsibility.
10. Failure to Pickup/Ask for Shipping
Please note, if items are not picked up on the allocated dates, or arrangements to pickup or get order shipped haven’t been made prior to last auction pickup date, bid winners will be subject to a $15 Restocking fee per order.
