5% BUYERS FEE & $10.00 title/bill of sale fee on applicable items,
3 day auction transit permits available for titled vehicles for $15.00 ea.
7.80% sales tax on in state sales on items that State of Kansas requires be taxed.
Trailers purchased by out of state buyers are taxable and must be paid before we can send out title.
Most farm equipmennt , farm equip. parts & repairs are tax exempt. Industrial eqiipment is taxable unless buyer signs off that it is for farm/ranch use only.
Most Titleable Vehicles and Trailers are not taxed by the auction firm at the time of sale and buyer pays applicable taxes in the location where they title the vehicle. A few vehicles are being sold through the Auction Auto dealer ship to clean up titles, etc. Those vehicle will be taxed at the time of sale at 7.80%. Out of state buyer 's or Dealers will be tax exempt. There is a $15 title fee on all titleable vehicles period, even if only sold with a bill of sale vs title. Dealelrs - fax in or email copy of State Vehicle Dealers Licence & Sales tax Certificate.
