Method of Payment: All purchases must be paid in full by check, cash, Visa, Discover, American Express, or Master Card. A buyer's premium equal to 15% will be applied to all winning bids. The buyer's premium percentage will be applied to each lot sold, to be paid by the buyer as part of the final purchase price. An additional 3% fee will be charged to all purchases using a credit card. Payments not received by the final pickup time will be automatically charged to the credit card on file.
Payment of Vehicles and Trailers: The successful Buyer of the Vehicles and or Trailers are required to make payment in full by cash, certified funds, or wire transfer. No other forms of payment will be accepted for these items. Sales Tax: Indiana sales tax is not collected by the auction company on the sale of these items. The Buyer will be responsible for paying all applicable sales tax directly to the Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles (BMV) at the time of title transfer and registration. Title and Transfer: Titles will be transferred only after full payment has been received and verified. Buyers are responsible for any additional fees associated with titling and registration. Please make sure that you have insurance on the vehicles prior to picking them up from the auction.
Condition of Items: All items are being sold "As-Is, Where-Is" with no warranty being expressed or implied by the Auction Company or the Seller.
DUMP TRAILERS: All dump trailers in this auction are being sold AS-IS, WHERE-IS, WITH ALL CONTENTS, including any trash, debris, roofing materials, or other materials currently contained therein. By placing a bid, the Buyer acknowledges and agrees that the trailers are being sold with their current contents and that such contents are part of the sale. No items will be removed by the Seller prior to transfer of possession. The Buyer is solely responsible for removing, cleaning out, transporting, and properly disposing of all contents in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. No refunds, price adjustments, or credits will be given based on the type, quantity, or condition of the contents, and failure to remove contents or clean out the trailers shall not be grounds for rescission or cancellation of the sale.
Removal: Items may be picked up on Wednesday, February 18th, from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the property located at 3525 Clearbrook Dr, Fort Wayne, IN. Buyers MUST BRING LOADING HELP AND PACKING SUPPLIES. The Steffen Group can not offer loading assistance.
Shipping: Shipping will be available for small items in-house through Shipping Saint. Large items will be shipped using More Than Mail, Pak Mail or Similar (NOT ALL ITEMS QUALIFY FOR SHIPPING - CALL SALE MANAGER FOR CLARIFICATION OF ITEMS). All costs associated with shipping, including boxes, materials, and handling, will be paid by the Buyer. A $5 handling fee is added to all invoices requesting shipping. For questions regarding shipping, contact the Auctioneer prior to the closing day of the auction. We cannot ship with an outside shipping label being sent to the shipping department. Any invoice total of $500.00 or more will also be shipped with and adult signature required. The items will be packed, and then an invoice will be sent for payment through Shipping Saint. If damage does occur, we insure every package. All claims will need to be filed through Shipping Saint or the Outside Shipping Company.
