IMPORTANT PICKUP POLICY – READ FIRST!
ALL ITEMS MUST BE PICKED UP WITHIN 5 BUSINESS DAYS (MONDAY TO FRIDAY, 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM) BY APPOINTMENT ONLY.
NO EXCEPTIONS.
FAILURE TO PICK UP WITHIN THIS TIME FRAME MEANS YOUR ITEMS WILL BE CONSIDERED ABANDONED, FORFEITED, AND DISPOSED OF WITH NO REFUNDS OR COMPENSATION.
NO SHIPPING IS AVAILABLE. DO NOT BID IF YOU CANNOT ARRANGE PICKUP.
PICKUP & APPOINTMENT POLICY
Pickup is strictly by appointment only.

Pickup window: Monday to Friday, 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM.
If you need a different date/time, you must email us before the deadline to request an alternative. We will do our best to accommodate, but cannot guarantee availability.
No appointment = no pickup.
Abandoned items: Items not picked up within 5 business days will be deemed abandoned, and no refund or credit will be issued.
Restocking/admin fees: If you do not pick up and do not contact us, your card will be charged a 25% restocking fee (minimum $20), your account suspended, and a $50 fee applies to reinstate your account.
ITEM CONDITION DEFINITIONS
New: The item is in new condition, not used.
Sealed: The item is brand new and in a sealed box or packaging.
New (Open Box): The item is new and unused, but the packaging has been opened.
Open Box: The product packaging is open. The item may be new or unused; please review the listing for details.
New (Refurbished): The item has been professionally refurbished to new condition.
Like New (Refurbished): The item has been professionally refurbished and appears like new, with little to no signs of use.
Distressed: The packaging or product has cosmetic damage (scratches, dents, etc.) that does not affect the product’s function or usability. Details will be described in the listing.
Used (Excellent): The item has been used but shows minimal signs of use. May have been used once or twice.
Used (Good/Fair): The item has been used and shows moderate signs of use (scuffs, scratches, wear).
Used (Visible Wear): The item has been used extensively and has obvious and visible signs of wear.
Untested: The item has not been tested for functionality and is sold strictly AS IS.
As Is: The item may have significant issues or has not been inspected. These items are strictly sold in “AS IS” condition and are not returnable under any circumstances. Please review the listing carefully.
Cosmetic Blemish: The item has a noticeable cosmetic issue that does not affect function.
With Issue: The item has a significant issue, which will be described in the listing.
All items marked as “Used,” “Untested,” or “As Is” are sold strictly in AS IS CONDITION with no returns or warranties.
REGISTRATION & IDENTIFICATION
Registration requires valid contact and credit card information for verification and payment.
All bidders must be of legal age.
Eligible Bidders (Location Restriction)
SAMY TRADERS auctions are open only to bidders with a valid Canadian billing address and who can attend local pickup in person. We do not accept registrations or bids from users whose billing address or IP location is outside Canada. Any such registrations or bids may be cancelled at our sole discretion, and any resulting invoices will be void.
By registering, you agree to receive all auction-related emails (cannot opt out of these).
PAYMENT & CREDIT CARD AUTHORIZATION
No cost to register; a $1 validation charge may apply.
Payment: no cash, Visa, Mastercard, or Debit will be charged when auction has closed.
No e-transfers, cheques, or money orders.
By registering for the auction, you authorize SAMY Traders to charge your credit card on file for all purchases, fees, and penalties as outlined in these Terms & Conditions.
It is your responsibility to ensure that your credit card information on file is accurate and up to date. If your card is declined or does not work at the time of payment or when charging fees, we will attempt to contact you using the information provided.
You will have the same 5 business days (Monday to Friday) pickup window to update your payment information and complete your pickup. All items must be picked up by the end of Friday of that week unless alternative arrangements have been made in advance.
If no contact is made during the 5-day pickup period, and you fail to update your payment information or pick up your items, you will be charged the applicable restocking fee.
Failure to comply will result in permanent banning from future auctions and possible reporting to credit bureaus or collections agencies.
We reserve the right to suspend or cancel your account until all outstanding balances and fees are paid in full.
If you win and do not pay/pick up on time, your card will be charged an additional restocking fee and you will be banned.
FEES & TAXES
13% Buyer’s Premium + $1 handling fee + 13% HST applies to all items, regardless of type or exemption.
BIDDING & WINNING
All bids are final and legally binding.
No bid withdrawals for any reason.
Check your bids/status at any time during the auction.
No reserves: All items are sold to the highest bidder. There are no minimum reserve prices.
Lots: All lots containing multiple items are always multiplied by the bid amount. For example, if you bid $5 on a lot containing 20 items, your total cost will be $5 x 20 = $100. This applies to all such lots unless otherwise stated in the listing.
SOFT CLOSE
To prevent “sniping,” if a bid is placed in the final 60 seconds of an item’s auction, the bidding time for that item will automatically extend by 60 seconds. This will continue until no new bids are placed within the last 60 seconds.
REMOVAL & RESPONSIBILITY
Buyers must remove items in one trip, on time, and bring all necessary tools/labour.
Security staff will not assist with removal.
Items not removed by deadline are abandoned, regardless of price.
INVOICING & NOTIFICATION
Winning bidders are emailed invoices after auction close.
You are responsible for payment and pickup even if you do not receive the invoice (check junk mail).
CONDITION, RETURNS & WARRANTY
All items are sold “AS IS, WHERE IS,” unless otherwise stated.
7-day limited warranty only if:
Item is not as described, or
Item listed as working/new is not functional or is missing key components.
No warranty on items marked “AS IS,” “UNTESTED,” or similar.
To request a return, email us within 7 days of pickup. Returns are by appointment only, with original packaging/accessories.
Refunds are by original payment method if returned during posted pickup hours; otherwise, auction credit only.
Buyers are responsible for all return costs.
Inspect all items before leaving; no exceptions for missed defects after leaving.
CREDIT & ACCOUNT SUSPENSION
Failure to pick up and pay as agreed will result in account suspension, restocking/admin fees, and may be reported to the credit bureau.
PRIVACY POLICY
We do not share, sell, or distribute your personal information to any third parties.
Your information is collected solely for auction registration, communication, and payment processing.
By registering, you consent to our use of your data for these purposes.
GENERAL TERMS
We reserve the right to add/remove lots, correct errors, or extend auctions in case of technical issues.
All sales are subject to Ontario law.
By bidding, you accept all terms and conditions.
By bidding in our auction, you acknowledge and agree to ALL terms and conditions above.
