By registering and bidding in our auction, you agree to the following terms:
SHIPPING:
We hold several individual weekly auctions, which are timed so that the live auction portion will take approximately 1 hour per 100 coins. Each day's auction is separately invoiced, but shipping is combined for all auctions within a week. Shipping will be included on your invoice(s). We use USPS for most shipping, but will ship by registered mail, Fedex, or UPS at our discretion, or by request. Some shipping methods require an additional charge. Any customs duties, fees, or taxes are the sole responsibility of the buyer. Please see below for our standard shipping charges. We typically ship all paid invoices for a given week in less than one week after the close of that week's final auction, but we do not guarantee a specific shipping timeframe.
BUYER'S PREMIUM:
There is a buyer's premium of 15% for all credit and debit card payments. For invoices under $5000, the premium can be reduced to 12.5% if you pay by Zelle, bank wire, e-check or paper check. For same week combined invoice totals of $5000 or more, we can discount the buyer's premium only for payment by paper check or wire transfer. The reduced buyer's premium can be applied to these payments ONLY IF YOU CONTACT US FIRST to adjust your invoice. We cannot accept money orders as payment.
BILLING:
Your credit card on file with HiBid is your primary payment method, and we will bill your card on file for any lots won unless you have already made other payment arrangements. The day on which we intend to charge cards on file is shown in the "bidding notice" for each auction. Please note that invoices that are awaiting payment by check/e-check/wire transfer that are not paid in a reasonable timeframe may be billed to your credit card on file with the usual credit card buyer's premium. If your card on file bounces, we will notify you, and may retry the card at a later date if the invoice is still unpaid.
RETURN POLICY - If you are not satisfied with the coins you've purchased, we accept returns for a full refund subject to the following terms: Returns must be initiated within 7 days of delivery of your coins by contacting us by email or phone and telling us which specific coins you'd like to return. Any coin broken out of the holder in which it was sold is not eligible for return. Because we must pay out our consignors, returns not initiated within this timeframe cannot be accepted. Returns based on the grades returned by any grading service you may submit to cannot be accepted. Contacting us in a non-specific way about a potential return, i.e. "I might want to return some coins at some point in the future," is not considered initiation of a return. Coins are not sold "on approval," and we reserve the right to block bidders from future bidding for excessive returns or other abuse of the return privilege.
GRADING AND OTHER INFORMATION:
Our coins are certified by third parties, and are sold as is. Our pictures are very clear, and you will receive the exact coin you bid on. All coins have a lifetime guarantee against being counterfeit. Counterfeit is defined as an imitation or replica coin which was not so identified in our description text or in the photos, or as a coin which has been altered to change its apparent mintage, date, or denomination, and which was not thusly described in our auction description or photos. You agree to accept and abide by this definition of "counterfeit."
Grading services are beyond our control, and we do not guarantee current or future grading in any way. Submitting coins for grading is at your own risk. You understand and agree that any grading service results, expert opinions as to grade and condition, and similar obtained subsequent to purchase are the subjective opinion of that service or person, and that no difference of opinion as to grade, to include matters of toning and cleaning, constitutes a coin being "counterfeit." Price guide / list price information comes from PCGS and is not a guarantee of resale value. We do not guarantee grading or resale value, and returns for any reason related to grading or resale are not accepted. No refund can be made if merchandise is not returned to us.
Central Florida Coin Auction sells coins owned by third party consignors. We do not grade or evaluate the coins we sell, and we represent and market the coins in our auctions using the grades, descriptions, values, and other information provided to us by our consignors.
In the event of a listing error, such as a coin not matching the HiBid title/description or holder information, we will always try to satisfy the bidder, but reserve the right to cancel the sale. On occasion, some of our lots have a hidden reserve price which is not visible to bidders, and we are unable to sell lots when the high bid does not exceed this hidden reserve.

$7 shipping – up to $300 value
$10 shipping – $301 to $1000 value
$20 shipping – over $1000 value
$40 flat charge for Fedex shipping (optional, please ask)
$10 additional for USPS registered mail*
*We may require registered mail shipment in some cases, such as for invoices of $5000 or more or at our discretion.
