Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your participation in any auction or sale hosted by Gavel Hub LLC, doing business as Gavel Shack ("Gavel Shack", "we", "us", or "our"). By registering for and placing a bid in any of our auctions, you ("you", "your", "bidder", or "buyer") agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Binding Bids
All bids placed through Gavel Shack are considered final and legally binding. Once a bid is submitted, it cannot be retracted or canceled. The highest bid at the close of the auction constitutes a legally enforceable agreement to purchase the item ("lot") at the winning price, plus any applicable taxes, shipping, and fees.
2. Invoicing and Payment
Invoices for all winning bids will be issued within one (1) business day after the close of the auction.
Payment is due upon receipt of the invoice.
After three (3) days, any unpaid invoice will be considered past due.
On the fifth (5th) day, unless the buyer has contacted us to make alternative arrangements, the item(s) will be forfeited.
If an item is forfeited:
The lot may be offered to the next highest qualifying bidder, or
If no secondary bidder wishes to purchase, the item will be returned to inventory and listed in a future auction.
Gavel Shack reserves the right to ban repeat offenders or those with a pattern of non-payment.
3. Shipping and Pickup
All items are shipped unless otherwise specified.
In-person pickup is only permitted for:
Vehicles (cars, trucks, trailers)
Recreational vehicles
Heavy machinery or oversized lots
Pickup must be scheduled and coordinated in advance.
Shipping for vehicles and large items is available only within the United States, and at an additional cost to the buyer.
Shipping Timeline:
Items with on-time paid invoices will typically be shipped the next business day after the 5th day following auction close.
Most items, however, ship within 24 hours of payment as part of our fast-processing incentive for timely payers.
All items will either be shipped or considered forfeited by Day 7 after the auction’s end.
Expedited shipping is available upon request at an additional fee to the buyer.
4. Item Condition and Authenticity
All items are sold AS-IS, where-is, with no warranties expressed or implied, unless:
The item arrives not as described, or
The item is damaged during shipping.
Any item that has been authenticated or certified will have its status clearly stated in the description. If no such information is present, the item is sold as-is and has not been independently authenticated.
Buyers are encouraged to review all item descriptions, photos, and condition reports before bidding.
5. Returns and Disputes
Due to the nature of auctions, all sales are final. Returns or refunds are only issued in the event of:
Incorrect item description, or
Shipping damage (must be reported within 48 hours of delivery).

6. Bidding Conduct
Gavel Shack reserves the right to:
Refuse or cancel bids at our discretion
Block or remove users for suspicious or fraudulent activity
Adjust auction timelines or withdraw lots due to errors or unforeseen issues
Shill bidding or bid manipulation is strictly prohibited and may result in legal action.
7. Taxes and Fees
Applicable sales taxes will be calculated based on the buyer’s shipping address and included in the invoice unless a valid resale or exemption certificate is on file prior to bidding. Buyers are responsible for all applicable taxes, fees, and shipping charges.
8. Limitation of Liability
Gavel Shack, its owners, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with your participation in any auction or use of our services.
9. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from participation in our auctions shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Salt Lake County, Utah.
10. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Continued participation in our auctions constitutes your acceptance of any revised Terms.

Returns & Refunds Policy

This Returns & Refunds Policy (“Policy”) explains the circumstances under which refunds or returns may be granted by Gavel Hub LLC, doing business as Gavel Shack (“Gavel Shack,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By bidding in our auctions, you (“you,” “your,” “buyer”) agree to this Policy.
1. All Sales Are Final
All items are sold AS-IS, where-is.
No returns, cancellations, or refunds are allowed except as expressly stated in this Policy.
2. Eligible Refunds
Refunds may be granted only in the following cases:
Incorrect Item Description – The item received is materially different from its listing.
Shipping Damage – The item was damaged during shipping.
3. Reporting Issues
Buyers must report any eligible issue within 48 hours of delivery.

4. Exclusions
Refunds will not be issued for:
Buyer’s remorse or change of mind
Failure to read full item descriptions or review photos
Authentication or certification not expressly guaranteed in the listing
5. Resolution
Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 7–10 business days.
Gavel Shack reserves the right to repair, replace, or refund at its sole discretion.
