DIG N BID – Terms & Conditions
By placing a bid with DIG N BID, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms:
1. Who We Are
DIG N BID specializes in online auctions featuring Amazon US & Canada lost and returned items. Inventory may include brand new, open-box, or customer-returned merchandise.
• All items are sold AS IS.
• No warranties or guarantees of any kind.
• Packaging may be damaged or show handling wear.
2. Registration Requirements
• A valid account with up-to-date contact and payment information is required.
• Registration requires a valid Ontario-issued credit card (a $1 hold may be applied for verification).
• Bidders must be 18 years or older.
• DIG N BID reserves the right to approve or deny registration at its sole discretion.
• By registering, you consent to receive auction notifications and updates (system-generated emails cannot be unsubscribed).
3. Bidding Rules
• All bids are final and binding. Cancellations are not permitted.
• Placing a bid constitutes a legally binding purchase agreement.
• Non-payment may result in account suspension, collection action, and additional fees.
• In cases of conflict, written descriptions take priority over photos.
• While every effort is made to accurately catalog and prepare items, DIG N BID reserves the right to inform a winning bidder if a product cannot be located due to staff error or inventory discrepancy. In such cases, the sole resolution will be a full refund of the purchase price. No replacement, substitution, or additional compensation will be provided.
• Lots may be added, removed, or modified at any time.
• DIG N BID (Wanas Trading Inc.) reserves the right to pause, extend, or cancel auctions at its discretion, and may adjust reserves or pricing as necessary.
4. Payment Terms
• Accepted Payment Methods:
• Credit card (online only). A 3.5% processing fee applies.
• E-Transfer (no additional fees).
• Payment is due within 24 hours of auction close.
• Orders must be paid in full prior to pickup.
5. Non-Payment and Late Pickup Policy
• Payment Deadline: All invoices must be paid within 24 hours of auction close. Failure to pay will result in a $25 non-payment fee. Unpaid items will be cancelled, relisted, and the bidder’s account may be suspended or permanently banned.
• Pickup Deadline: All items must be collected on the Saturday following the auction closing day, between 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM EST, at:

• Items not picked up on time are subject to a $25 late pickup fee.
• Items not collected within 7 days are considered abandoned and no refund will be issued.
• DIG N BID reserves the right to charge these fees to the credit card on file or require payment prior to restoring bidding privileges.
6. Pickup Instructions
• Local pickup only (no shipping unless explicitly stated).
• Pickup Location: 3545 Platinum Dr, Unit 1114, Mississauga, ON L5M 0Y7
• Pickup Hours: Saturday following the auction closing day, 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM EST.
Bring:
• Valid photo ID
• Your Bidcard # or last 4 digits of your invoice (check email/spam)
Important Notes:
• Bring necessary help, tools, or equipment. Staff will not assist with lifting/loading.
• Inspect items before leaving. No returns after pickup.
7. Fees and Taxes
• 15% Buyer’s Premium on all purchases.
• $1.50 handling fee per invoice.
• 3.5% credit card surcharge on all credit card payments.
• HST (Harmonized Sales Tax) applies where required.
8. Returns and Missing Items
• All sales are final. No returns or exchanges.
• Refunds may be issued only in cases of major misrepresentation, at DIG N BID’s discretion.
• To request a refund, email info@dignbid.com within 24 hours of pickup.
• Approved returns must be brought back by the following Saturday during pickup hours.
• Refunds will be issued only to the original payment method.
• Buyer is responsible for return shipping.
• For missing or unlocated items, the maximum refund is the amount paid. DIG N BID is not obligated to provide replacements, substitutions, or further compensation.
9. Outbid Notices and Soft Close
• Outbid alerts may be sent until the final 2 hours of the auction.
• DIG N BID uses a soft close system. Bids placed near the end will extend the timer to prevent last-second sniping.
10. Technical Issues
• If HiBid experiences technical disruptions, DIG N BID may extend or reopen the auction for up to 24 hours.
• DIG N BID and Wanas Trading Inc. are not responsible for missed bids caused by internet or platform issues.
11. Pickup Liability Disclaimer
Pickup occurs at a private self-storage facility. Entry is at your own risk. DIG N BID, Wanas Trading Inc., and the facility are not responsible for injuries, damages, or losses during pickup.
12. Customer Data
• DIG N BID does not collect or store personal data from HiBid beyond what is required for auction transactions.
• By registering, you consent to receive auction notifications and updates.
13. Reserve Prices
• Most items are sold without reserve.
• If reserves are used, they will not be disclosed in advance.
• DIG N BID may add, remove, or adjust reserves at its discretion.
14. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada. All disputes must be resolved in the courts of Ontario.
