Terms and Conditions
1. This is an Online Auction ONLY.
2. SHIPPING/PICKUP: WE DO NOT PROVIDE SHIPPING. Although we do not ship items, many of our customers utilize our local UPS shipping service for pickup, packing, and shipping. PLEASE READ CAREFULLY!!!!!! Items must be scheduled to be picked up by no later than Friday at 9am after the auction closes.UPS will pickup up your items Friday after auction close if you have provided the required documentation 1.photo of SIGNED INVOICE 2.photo of DRIVER'S LICENSE with matching addresses). Both MUST BE EMAILED before we can release your items for shipping. Please email us at sell@gracefultransitions.org and to The UPS Store at store5681@theupsstore.com. If you fail to provide the required documentation your items will not be released and invoices will not be refunded, and your items will become forfeited. We do not pack your items for shipping, you must utilize UPS packing services.. YOU MUST USE OUR LOCAL UPS STORE - YOU MUST USE ALL 3 UPS SERVICES: PICKUP, PACKING, AND SHIPPING SERVICES. NO PREPAID SHIPPING LABELS. You must send the UPS Store a copy of your invoice, and your shipping address must match the address on file with Hibid before we can release your items for shipping and packing. If you are out of state and/or are purchasing jewelry, gold, silver, or other items at our discretion, we have several requirements before we can release your items for shipping. 1. You must send the UPS Store a copy of your invoice and your shipping address must match the address on file with Hibid. 2. Valid Driver License: A valid driver's license must be provided to us (photo or scan). The address must match the address on file with Hibid.
3. Signed Invoice: You must sign your paid invoice(attached to the winning bidder email that you received), photo/scan and email it back to us. We will await required documents to be emailed to us before releasing your items to UPS pickup. Email us at sell@gracefultransitions.org with your scheduled pickup time and date. Let them know to pick up your items at Graceful Transitions Auctions: 6900 English Muffin Way, Suite E, Frederick, MD 21703. Coming from English Muffin Way turn on to Wedgewood Blvd. Next, take a left at the rear of the building, proceed halfway across the parking lot and look for signs directing you to stairs and entrance. Please note the entrance is in the back of the building.

4. The credit card used to register on Hibid will be charged immediately following the close of the sale. **Please note that Graceful Transition does not retain your credit information. It is secured by Hibid only. We do not have access to change any of your Hibid Account settings including your payment options, payment preferences and credit card information. This is secured by Hibid only and will require you to update your settings in your Hibid Account.
5. All payments must be made online through Hibid. Non Paying Bidders could be permanently banned from future auctions.
6. Sales and Use Tax ID Number must be submitted BEFORE THE CLOSE OF THE AUCTION. THE TAX ID NUMBER CANNOT BE APPLIED AFTER THE CLOSE OF THE AUCTION.
7. All Items are "As Is" with all faults. All descriptions are believed accurate but not warranted. We do not guarantee the grade, authenticity, condition, or operation of any item sold.
8. ONCE YOU PLACE A BID IT IS FINAL. By placing a bid, the bidder agrees that they have examined the items to their satisfaction in person or online. You assume responsibility for the condition of the item when you placed the bid and waive the right to inspect the item in person if you did not come to inspect the item before bidding.
9. ALL ITEMS MUST BE RETRIEVED WITHIN THE PICKUP WINDOWS. Items not picked up, will NOT be held after the pickup windows end. ITEMS UNCLAIMED WILL BECOME PROPERTY OF Graceful Transitions
10. Winning Bidders MUST be able to load and haul their items with minimal help. We may or may not be able to supply help.
11. Graceful Transitions’ Auction Team reserves the right to ban bidders and cancel existing bids at any time. Bidders with negative Hibid scores, those who fail to comply with our terms and conditions, or individuals who are disrespectful to auction staff or other participants may be banned.
