FEES & BUYER’S PREMIUM
You Asked, We delivered - Our Premiums have changed!
At Auction X, we believe in clear, upfront pricing. Here’s a breakdown of the standard fees that apply to every winning bidder:
Summary
- 16% buyer’s premium on all winning bids
- $1.00 per item handling fee
- 13% HST
If you choose to pay by credit card, a 3% processing fee will be added to your invoice total.
Even with these fees, Auction X bidders save up to 90% off retail prices every week.

PAYMENT POLICY
When payment is due:
- Invoices are issued after the auction closes.
- Bidders have until Tuesday (2 days after the auction) to review their invoice and arrange payment.
- On Tuesday, any unpaid invoices will be automatically charged to the credit card on file including the processing fee.
Preferred payment method:
- We encourage all bidders to pay by e-transfer. This avoids additional fees and helps keep costs down for everyone. E Transfers can be sent to Info@auctionx.ca
Credit card payments:
- If you choose to pay by credit card, a 3% processing fee will be added to your invoice total.
- Any unpaid invoices will be processed to the credit card on file by Tuesday following the auction.
Important reminders:
- Invoices must be paid in full before items can be picked up or shipped.
- We strongly encourage bidders to pay before booking a pickup slot to avoid delays at checkout.

RETURN POLICY
All bids placed in Auction X are final and binding. All items are sold “as is”, with no guarantees or warranties. We strive to provide accurate listings and fair assessments. However, please remember we are an auction house and liquidation company, not a retail store.
No Returns Accepted For:
- Missing parts or accessories
- Buyer’s remorse (wrong size, changed your mind, not what you expected)
- Minor cosmetic issues (scratches, scuffs, dents)
- Items sold as Used, Good, Excellent, Parts Only, or Salvage

Condition Ratings & Photos:
- Auction X’s condition categories (New, Excellent, Good, Used, Parts Only) are opinions only, not guarantees.
- Use a combination of our condition rating, written notes, and photos to make your bidding decisions.
- DO NOT RELY SOLELY ON THE TITLE.
- If there are any discrepancies, the photos are considered the most accurate representation of the item.
- Always scroll to the end of the listing and carefully review the actual item photos before placing a bid.
Accepted Returns:
- Returns will only be considered if an item was listed as “NEW” and is found to have a major defect or damage that prevents normal use.
- Accepted Returns must be reported within 24 hours of pickup, and all items must be in their original packaging and condition.
Auction X reserves the right to refund, replace, or issue store credit for any accepted return.
FAQ:
Can I inspect items during pickup?
Yes! We encourage you to check over your items when you arrive. Please be respectful of others by stepping aside to inspect, so our team can keep pickups running smoothly. Remember: once items leave our building, the sale is considered final.
What if I don’t get my invoice email?
Invoices are emailed automatically the morning after the auction ends. If you don’t see it, please check your junk or spam folder. If it’s still missing after 10:00 AM, email us at info@auctionx.ca and we’ll resend it.
