Please read carefully before bidding. By placing a bid, you agree to all terms and conditions outlined below.

Registration & Use
" Bidders must register through the HiBid platform and provide valid credit card information.
" Your credit card will not be charged unless you win an item. A temporary pre-authorization may be applied to validate your card.
" You must keep your account information secure and updated. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
" Registrants must be 18 years or older and legally able to enter binding contracts.
" By registering, your email will be added to our mailing list. You may unsubscribe at any time.

Bidding & Buyer Responsibilities
" Bids are binding and final. They cannot be retracted. You must be outbid in order to no longer be the winning bidder.
" You are purchasing retailer returns, overstock, undeliverable freight, and (sometimes) consignment items. These are not guaranteed to be in perfect condition.
" Items may be missing packaging, parts (e.g., screws), or show minor cosmetic damage.
" All product descriptions are based on visual inspections and are not guaranteed accurate. We strongly encourage independent research before bidding.
" Nova Auction House Ltd. is not an authorized dealer, and manufacturer warranties do not apply.

Payment
" A 15% buyer's premium and 14% HST/GST are applied to all purchases.
" Payment is due within two (2) business days of auction close. Credit cards on file will be automatically charged.
" Unpaid invoices will result in account suspension and relisting of items. A restocking fee balance will remain on the account file until paid.
" Invoices are emailed after the auction. Check your inbox and junk folders.

Pickup Policy
" Pickup must occur within 7 days of auction close. We recommend booking an appointment to reduce wait times.
" Bring your own tools, packing materials, and help to load items.
" Pallets not picked up will incur a $25/week storage fee.
" Items not picked up are subject to a $5 per item weekly fee until picked up.
" Items not collected within 14 days will be considered abandoned and become the property of Nova Auction House Ltd.

Items Not Picked Up
After 14 days, unclaimed items will:
" Be removed from your account and re-listed.
" All items are subject to a $5 per item weekly fee and will incur a restocking fee of 20% or $10/item (whichever is greater), plus tax and buyer's premium.
" Be sold without refund if the value is $10 or less.
" Result in account deactivation until all outstanding fees are paid.
" In extreme situations accounts may be placed on hold for items not picked up in a timely manner. Accounts will be reinstated once the order is picked up. We are a pickup location not a storage facility - thank you for understanding.

Returns
" A 14-day return period from the auction close date applies to defective items not sold "AS IS."
o We must be notified within 14 days from the auction closing date - not pickup date.
o Once we are notified you will have a further 30 days to return to the warehouse for refund.
" Returns are not accepted for:
o Items sold "AS IS" (including pallets and box lots)
o Missing minor parts (e.g., screws/nuts)
o Minor cosmetic defects that do not affect functionality
" Items must be returned in original condition and packaging.
" Approved returns may be exchanged (if stock is available). Declined exchanges may incur a restocking fee.
" If returned, refunds are issued within 5 business days via the original payment method or e-transfer (if applicable).

" No returns will be accepted after 14 days, and pickup after this window voids your right to return.

Shipping
" We do not offer shipping.
" Buyers are responsible for arranging courier pickup. Prepaid labels are accepted.
" All shipping costs and logistics, including returns, are the buyer's responsibility.

Auction Conduct
" Soft Close: Items with last-minute bids will remain open for 1 additional minute until bidding ceases.
" Bidders may set a maximum bid, allowing the system to bid automatically in increments.
" Internet-only auctions do not include live bidding. All bids must be placed online.
" Bidding with false or stolen information is prohibited and will be prosecuted.
" In the case of a system error or interruption, Nova Auction House Ltd. may pause, restart, or cancel the auction.

Winning Bids & Invoicing
" Winning bids are the highest valid bids. In the event of identical bids, the earliest one submitted wins.
" After the auction, winners will be notified by email. If you believe you've won but have not received notification, please contact us directly.

Non-Payment
" If payment is not received by the end of the auction week, items will be removed and re-auctioned.
" Non-payment of restocking/storage fees will result in account deactivation until the balance is settled.
" Keep your payment and contact info up to date to avoid disruption.

Privacy & Policy Changes
" Your information is handled per our Privacy Policy and will not be sold or shared without consent.
" Terms are subject to change. It is your responsibility to review them before bidding.

Rights Reserved
" Nova Auction House Ltd. reserves the right to:
o Refuse service or cancel any bid
o Block or remove any user account
o Modify auction terms or conditions at any time
