REGISTRATION & APPROVAL PROCESS 1.1 Bidder Approval CM Company Auctions reserves the right to approve or deny bidders at our sole discretion. We may accept or deny bidders for any reason at any time. 1.2 Credit Verification Prior to approval, CM Company Auctions may contact you to determine creditworthiness. Approved bids will be processed in accordance with these terms and conditions. 1.3 Previously Banned Bidders If you have been previously banned from an auction, you may be required to provide: • Deposit in the amount of the bid amount • References as requested 1.4 Registration Information Requirements You agree to: • Provide true, accurate, current, and complete information on our registration form • Maintain and promptly update registration data to keep it accurate and current Important: Providing false, inaccurate, or incomplete information may result in account suspension or termination and refusal of current or future service use. 2. ONLINE BIDDING PROCESS 2.1 Legally Binding Contract By placing a bid, you enter into a legally binding and enforceable contract. You are bidding against: • Internet proxy bidders • Floor bidders • Other bidder types as applicable 2.2 Reserve Auctions Some vehicles may contain a reserve price. If reserve is not met by auction close: • Both buyer and seller will be contacted • Attempts will be made to proceed with sale • All bids remain final • If seller accepts bid below reserve, highest bidder remains responsible 2.3 Bid Commitment & Transmission CRITICAL NOTICE: • Bids placed via online services are FIRM COMMITMENTS TO PURCHASE • Bids MAY NOT BE CANCELED OR RETRACTED for any reason • CM Company Auctions cannot guarantee timely bid transmission • Auctioneer has sole discretion to accept or refuse any bid 2.4 Bid Terms • All bids are exclusive of applicable taxes and fees • Bids do not apply to subsequent identical/similar items • Unsuccessful bids may be reinstated if problems arise with higher bids • Winning bidders will be notified via email provided in registration • No bidding under false names or as unauthorized agents 3. PAYMENT REQUIREMENTS 3.1 Payment Deadline Payment Deadline is Auction-specific. Be Sure to read each auction's Terms carefully General Payment Deadlines: Payment must be made no later than 24 hours of the auction close. 3.2 Accepted Payment Methods • Cash • Check • Money order • Wire transfer • Cashier's check • Credit card (includes 5% processing fee) 3.3 Payment Method Selection • Must state preferred payment method in registration notes • Failure to specify will result in card on file being charged • Failure to pay results in ban from future auctions and legal actions 3.4 Taxes and Fees Tax Information: • Taxes apply to all purchases • Vehicle auctions include tax, title, and license fees • Buyer's premium varies by auction and is added to final bid • Tax exempt buyers must provide proof upon payment 4. ITEM PICKUP & TRANSPORTATION 4.1 Pickup Timeline Items must be picked up within 72 hours of auction close. 4.2 Pickup Requirements • Pickup by appointment only (unless otherwise stated) • Pickup locations vary by auction • Invoice must be paid in full before pickup • Copy of invoice must be presented at pickup 4.3 Transportation Responsibility Buyer Responsibility: • CM Company Auctions does NOT provide transportation or loading services • Buyers must be prepared and equipped to haul away items • Items remaining after 72 hours incur $25 per lot per day fee • Storage fees do not exceed 7 days 5.
