Mr. Overton was a notable figure in Wayne County, North Carolina, known for his diverse contributions over the years. His career spanned various fields, including electrical distribution with Shepherd Electric Supply, real estate, banking with Wachovia, and military service. As one of four siblings, he was also deeply involved with St. Francis Episcopal Church in Goldsboro. A passionate car and motorcycle enthusiast, Mr. Overton enjoyed golfing and actively participated in community service. The upcoming 5TH auction of his estate features a range of items ,used tools, vintage car parts from brands like Hudson, Packard, and Chevy, as well as electrical supplies. Notably, a nearly new Honda scooter will also be available. This auction marks the continuation of the family's efforts to part with Mr. Overton's extensive collection, so be on the lookout for future listings. HOLD HARMLESS AGREEMENT - The buyers hereby indemnify and hold harmless the auctioneer and seller from any and all damages, claims or liabilities from any injuries to persons or property of any type whatsoever caused during the sale or during the removal of the items purchased. Buyers remove purchases at their own risk. Buyer's should arrange for professional de-installation of wired, plumbed or built-in items. Many pieces of equipment have potential hazards and should be de-installed and moved by professionals with proper equipment. REFUNDS AND ADJUSTMENTS - Absolutely no adjustments, claims or refunds will be allowed after the item(s) are removed from the auction site. ANY CLAIMS MUST BE MADE WHILE THE ITEMS ARE ON THE AUCTION PREMISES. In no event will auctioneer's or seller's liability to buyer ever exceed the purchase price paid. BUYER'S PREMIUM - The expenses of conducting the auction are shared between the seller and buyer.
