Napoleon III Ormolu and Porcelain Mounted Clock, circa 1860, the white enamel dial with Turkish numerals, the movement strike on bell, surmounted by an urn of flowers, flanked by cornucopiae, columnar supports, foliate scrolls, panels of white ground floral painted porcelain, on a Gothic arcaded base, the reverse with a paper label "From the Collection of / Geraldine Rockefeller Dodge / at Madison, New Jersey". 25" H x 13" W x 6" D. Provenance: The Contents of Giralda: From the Collection of the Late Geraldine Rockefeller Dodge, Sotheby's Parke Bernet, New York, 7-11 October 1975. Note: Ethel Geraldine Rockefeller Dodge, 1882-1973, was a patron of the arts and a member of both the Rockefeller and Dodge families. No guarantees are made as to condition, period, size, count, weight, style, authenticity, material, or manufacturer copyright or reproduction of the merchandise sold. Showplace makes no representation, nor any express or implied warranties. Buyers must rely on their own knowledge when purchasing merchandise. 5. NO MERCHANDISE WILL BE DELIVERED DURING THE SALE. Unless prior arrangements are made, all purchased merchandise must be removed from Showplace premises immediately. Furniture and large items must be removed from Showplace premises by 4:00 pm the following day. Merchandise left after that time will be stored at the RISK & EXPENSE of the purchaser. Storage fees will accrue and will be added to the invoice. 6. The purchase price payable shall be the final bid plus a 25% buyer's premium. All purchases are subject to NYC sales tax rate of 8.875% unless a valid resale certificate is presented. A resale tax form must be completed in full prior to time of purchase. 7. The highest bidder acknowledged shall be the purchaser. If any dispute arises between bidders, the Auctioneer has final discretion to determine the successful bidder or to reoffer the lot in dispute. 8. Showplace reserves the right to charge customer's credit card for the sum total of their purchases including Sales Tax (if applicable) if items are not paid for within two (2) days of the auction. 9.
