454 cid V8 4-BBL (LS5) gasoline engine and a Muncy 4 speed manual transmission. VIN:1D37W2B539277; 62,352 miles showing on the odometer, cowl induction hood. Car has been parked in a garage and has not been touched for the last 20 years. Only reason for selling is the owner has passed and the Auction Company is selling for his Estate. The engine is loose. The Auction Company rotated by hand and then installed a battery (no battery included). Once installed we turned the key for a second to make sure the starter was operational. Everything seems fine but we did not attempt to fuel up, instead allowing the buyer to do that. The car currently has no brakes and appears to be in good condition for its age. More photos have been recently added so please inspect them. A bidder chose to inspect the car in person, as anyone who can should do for you may see something that Zettlemoyer Auction Company does not. This gentleman posted a statement to social media about several concerns he has as to its condition, some of these statements are untrue. The metal under the roof appears to be fully present throughout the top and the only places it appears to be rotted is at the lower corners of the rear window. The trunk floor is not swiss cheese; it is rusty but other than the factory drain hole there are only a few other very small holes. Photos of the trunk lid and hood showing rust around the edges have been added to the photo roll. Also added are pictures of the undercarriage and wheel wells to the best of our ability. If there are any photos of any other parts that anyone would like to request Zettlemoyer Auction Company will gladly take them for you. It has been brought to our attention that this is a very rare optioned car by another Chevelle enthusiast and that is why he believes the first gentleman left that social media post. At the second gentleman's request we posted all of the other photos along with some original paperwork so everyone can see the first gentleman's concerns. The car is being sold AS IS and it is the bidders' responsibility to do their due diligence as to the condition, age, genuinesness, value and any other determining factors. Bidders agree that everything is sold AS IS and that they may not return any item they purchase. By bidding and buying in this auction the Buyer agrees to all terms and conditions presented here. Placing a bid here is a LEGALLY BINDING CONTRACT to bid and no bidder shall retract his bid.
