FIREARMS SALES IN CANADA: On May 18th, 2022, The Government of Canada implemented new regulations concerning the transfer / sale of non-restricted firearms.Reference # RequirementWith these regulations, it has become necessary to obtain a reference number from the RCMP to validate the license of purchasers prior to the transfer, (shipment or pickup) of a non-restricted firearm. This reference # is for the seller (us) the buyer (you). This reference # is good for 90 days. We will obtain the reference #’s as required.New Identification Requirement ** If you are picking up your item, you will be required to show your PAL when you pick up.If we are shipping a non restricted firearm we are now required to confirm the validity of the purchasers PAL by viewing the PAL as well as one other piece of Government issued photo identification, front and back. * * If you are a winning bidder on a non-restricted firearm in upcoming sales, you will receive an email notification from us requesting an uploaded photo of your identification documents. We will require this information prior to shipping any non restricted items. This information will not be stored by us, and we must receive new uploads prior to every shipment. ** If you are unable to send the required documentation, we will not be able to ship your item to you. Your item(s) will have to be resold in the next coming auction. Our regular commission rates will apply to the resale. LOT ADDITIONS & DELETIONS: We reserve the right to remove or add items to the auction at any point. CATALOG ERROR & OMISSIONS: If the image of the item does not match the description, the item description takes precedence. All items are sold "as is", "where is" with all faults. BIDDING STRATEGY: We recommend that bidders put in their maximum bid when placing an online bid. This does not mean you will have to pay the maximum amount you bid; you only pay one bid more than the next-highest bid, and only up to your maximum bid. Using your maximum amount, the software places bids on your behalf based on the predefined increments until your maximum bid is reached. If two people place the same maximum bid, and that amount is the winning bid; the person that entered the maximum bid first will be the buyer. RESERVES: A few of the lots have a reasonable reserve. Bid on all items at your own discretion, based on your own judgement of the price you are willing to pay. BID INCREMENTS: Details can be found in the BID INCREMENTS section of the Auction Details. REVIEWING YOUR BIDS: You can check the status of your bids at any time during an auction. No bids can be withdrawn after the auction for any reason. BIDDER NOTIFICATOINS: You can choose to be notified by email during the auction if you have been outbid. 10 minutes before the auction closes, the volume of bidding may result in emails not reaching you quickly enough to react. It is recommended that you use the Live Catalog feature of the online auction to track your bidding status during this time. After the auction closes, you will be notified in approx 48 hrs. with a preliminary invoice if you are a successful bidder. SOFT CLOSE: To prevent a bidder from "sniping", all bids made in the last 2 minutes of the auction will force the lot to stay open for an additional 2 minutes. This will continue until bidding is ceased.
