SOFT CLOSE is a feature of HiBid auctions that allows buyers extra time to submit a bid. When a bid is placed with 2 minutes or less remaining in the sale of that item, SOFT CLOSE extends the bidding time for that item by an additional 2 minutes. This continues until bidding stops and the clock is allowed to run out. During the final 2 minutes of a lot, you can only bid from the Live Catalogue, NOT your Watchlist. REFUND POLICY: All Sales are FINAL and returns are not accepted. No claims regarding goods purchased will be allowed. NO REFUNDS, RETURNS, OR EXCHANGES. All items sold "AS IS, WHERE IS" with all faults. While we do our best to describe items accurately, descriptions are not guaranteed. It is the Bidder's responsibility to determine condition, age, genuineness, value or any other determinable factor. Bidder shall be the sole judge of value. Bidders who bid from off site understand and acknowledge they will not be able to inspect an item as if they examined it in person. By placing a bid, Bidder signifies they have examined the items to their satisfaction or they have chosen not to personally examine them. UNTESTED: In some instances, we may not be able to check if an item is working or complete; for example, a film projector with no film to test if it runs through. We make every effort to report whether or not an item powers on, but may not be able to test anything else. Refer to REFUND POLICY above for additional details. ADDITIONS & DELETIONS: We reserve the right to remove and/or add lots and/or items to the sale at any point before or during the auction. PICK UP TIMES: Pick-up is always the Friday and Saturday after auction close, from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. Items not picked up by 5:00 pm on the Saturday are considered abandoned, unless the buyer has made alternate arrangements. We will hold items for up to one week from the final pick-up day if items are paid for. After that, they will be relisted or disposed of. NO REFUNDS. SHIPPING: Shipping available only on lots indicated. All Shipping costs are at the expense of the buyer and include the actual shipping costs plus a $10 handling fee per package. We ship via Canada Post. Expect to pay a MINIMUM of $20 in shipping. ALL SHIPPING QUOTES ARE FINAL. Cost is not determined by item price. No shipping of over-sized or heavy items (e.g. furniture, framed pictures, cast iron). Shipment of fragile items is at the buyer's risk. We try our best to pack things securely and we are improving every auction, but Canada Post is NOT gentle. Once packages leave our hands they are no longer under our control. It is the responsibility of the buyer to inform the auctioneer of the need for shipping, and the method is at the auctioneer's discretion. We make use of recycled boxes where possible. Items are shipped out the week after the auction closes.
