For sale is a 1901 Underwood Stereoscope 3D Picture Viewer with Handle and Photo Slider (Sun Sculpture) with 26 Slides. This item is pre-owned and derives from a smoke-free, climate controlled home. Please see detailed pictures for its antique cosmetic appearance. Note that there are a few spots of rust and that some of the material is missing or coming off around the where you put your eyes. Item functions as it should. No cracks or breaks to the lenses. The slides are in nice condition with clear images and no rips or tears. ?Underwood & Underwood Sun Sculpture branded stereoscope: Marked underneath with: MAN'F'D BY UNDERWOOD & UNDERWOOD NEW YORK PATENTED JUNE 11, 1901 FOREIGN PATENTS APPLIED FOR It is in excellent overall condition. The handle on the bottom folds down for viewing. This is their "Sun Sculpture" U&U trademark, which is stamped on the top. The Slides come various markers. Some included are Keystone View Company, American Stereoscope Company, The Catskills and Melanoer Photographer Chicago. There are also a few that are unmarked. The cards span a broad range of subjects including landscape, people, and architecture.
