We have been contracted to sale, at public auction via the internet, the Estate of Nicholas Galanti (dec.). Mr. Galanti was a resident of Prestwick which is located on the south end of Myrtle Beach, SC and just north of Surfside Beach, SC just off of Kings Highway. He was a noted historian, a collector of Civil War and Native American Items, a sculptor, painter, woodworker, hunter and musician. Mr. Galanti also a collector of rare and historical books some of which date back to the 17th century. We will be offering over 600 books from his personal library as well as a few letters, handwritten journals and dairies from 1871-1948 by various individuals. Having retired to this area from New York Mr. Galanti was writing a book about the civil war at the time of his passing. He collected knives and swords and has hunting gear and equipment although not modern firearms are in this sale. This estate has many interesting and seldom encountered antiques and collectibles, Books, Figures, and wide variety of tools. All of the items in this sale are from his estate with no additions.
